I dont really like giving reviews to local Mom and Pop restaurants but this had to be done. My first visit here was not good, at all. I rolled up to the drive thru window where a very young girl greeted me. I asked for a Sausage, egg and cheese burrito. I also asked for a Chile Verde burrito, add asadero. The young girl looked at me in confusion and said “the chile verde is already spicy, do you still want the asadero?” Perplexed by this question, I said yes. She leaves the window, the returns a few seconds later. She asked me, “so you want an asadero burrito?” I said no, I want a chile verde con carne burrito but add asadero to it. She nodded then left again. She returned to collect payment, $16.64 for two burritos. After a few minutes, an older gentleman brings my burritos and I go back to work. I start with the sausage, egg and cheese burrito. Immediately I could tell the eggs were cooked on high heat, due to the charring and the sausage did not come through at all. Then I noticed the cheese was different, so I unwrap the burrito to find the small lump of cheese was actually chile con asadero. Out of curiosity, I open up the “chile verde con carne, add asadero; only to find a burrito filled with asadero and chile, no meat! Both burritos were flavorless and unfortunately, both burritos went straight into the trash.
