The food was absolutely outstanding. Everything we ordered tasted incredibly fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. You can truly tell that quality ingredients are being used and that care goes into every dish that comes out of the kitchen. Each bite was perfectly balanced, from the textures to the sauces, and everything arrived hot and beautifully presented. It’s rare these days to find a restaurant that consistently delivers food that tastes both fresh and expertly crafted, but P.F. Chang’s absolutely nailed it.
What really stood out to us, though, was the exceptional customer service—especially from the night shift manager. He was extremely friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. It was clear that he takes pride in his restaurant and his team. He checked in to make sure everything was perfect, made us feel appreciated as guests, and created an overall atmosphere that made the experience even more enjoyable. That level of attentiveness and warmth truly makes a difference and is something you don’t always see.
The staff as a whole was attentive, polite, and efficient, but the manager’s positive attitude and hands-on approach really elevated the entire visit. It’s refreshing to see leadership that sets such a high standard for hospitality.
Between the amazing food, the fresh flavors, the inviting environment, and the outstanding service, this P.F. Chang’s location has absolutely earned our repeat business. We left full, happy, and already talking about what we want to order next time. We will definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this downtown Indianapolis location to anyone looking for a great meal and top-notch service.
2nd order) Arrived at the PF Changs downtown location and was greeted by Brian with the fresh order ready to go. Of course I checked the meal to make sure everything was there. Everything looked good in the dimly lit restaurant, at first glance. Gave Brian the receipt and he stated that he still can’t figure out why he couldn’t find the order. Again, receipt was in hand. I asked Brian for another bag, being that we had to tear the initial one for me to check the food. Brian said, “Let me see if we have any.” Bag was given and I headed out. Got home to a well lit kitchen, and to my dismay, the lettuce for the wraps weren’t only brown and rotting but there’s an an actual bug stuck, glued, or in some way petrified to the first leaf that I was about to Eat. The restaurant was far from packed Sunday night and I see no excuse for this treatment. This is either sheer negligent incompetence or intentional retaliation for having to remake a simple order 5 times at no fault of the customer.. I have not and will not eat any of this food. I frequent PF changs both here locally and whilst dining out of state. My overall impression of this experience has been disturbing and disgustingly disappointing. In spite of the major inconvenience my friend and I were both polite and very understanding. I’d hate to think that this was some sort of retaliation tactic. The person that prepped the food would have to had been blind folded not to have seen that bug.
Service was a little delayed, likely due to the heavy crowd. It was noticeably louder than a typical P.F. Chang’s, as the PRI show was happening nearby and the place was packed, which explains the rush.
Despite the noise and slight wait, the overall experience was positive, and the food quality held up well even during a busy time. A good option if you’re in the area, especially when events are happening nearby.
