I visited this Turkish restaurant during Ramadan iftar time and had a really wonderful experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and everything felt well organized even though it was busy at sunset. The staff were extremely kind, attentive and respectful. They made sure everyone had water and dates right at iftar time and kept checking that we were comfortable.
The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish tasted fresh and authentic from the soups and appetizers to the grilled meats and desserts. Portions were generous and perfectly cooked and you could tell they really care about quality.
Overall a great place for iftar with good service great people and amazing food. I will definitely come back again and highly recommend it.

This place is superb. The food was delicious, fresh, tasty, VERY SUBSTANTIAL (one bowl will feed 3!) and a delight. The owner welcomed us with grace and kindness and told us that if it wasn’t to our liking, he would make it right. We were gifted Rice Pudding (the cinnamon….oy vey!) and Baklava. Will be back every time I go to Mass General for treatment.

This place is truly PERFECT! I’m so surprised it hasn’t gone viral on social media, because I’ve never heard about it before.
The service is absolutely incredible – easy parking, pleasant staff and ordering process. The food takes a bit to be prepared, but know – it’s good, it means that the food is freshly made and boy, it exceeded the expectations we had.
We got the meat bread for appetizer and then Istanbul Mixed Plate and a Doner Ball – everything was cooked to perfection: the food was juicy and flavorful, it came with whole garlic sauce and red spicy sauce.
The juice from the meats on top penetrated the pita, French fries, rice and salads and it was a delight to eat.
We also took some home and it takes amazing next day too!
They also cater all kids of events and we will be coming in and using Istanbul Diner Cafe for catering many times in the future!

I think my issue was expectations. When I walked up and saw that it was a little spot stuck in next to a laundromat, I got really excited. Places like that are usually the BEST. It’s very nice inside. Clean and well maintained. I ordered Shepherd’s Salad and Kofte. The salad was good. I was a little disappointed that the tomatoes were pale hot house tomatoes, so the flavor wasn’t much. I wish there was sumac on the table to add to the salad. It just tasted a little flat. The vegetables were fresh and crisp so a definite positive. The kofte was different than what I’m used to. They were almost like little chorizo type sausages sliced nearly in half and nicely grilled. They were dense and a bit dry. Flavor was good. I ended putting the sauce they had given me on the side into my salad and mixing it together and then soaking the kofte in it. I will definitely go back to try another dish, but my first trip was not super impressive. The staff were very nice and efficient.
