I gave him a BIG HUG when I told him I was grateful he accommodated due to rain, he responded he was grateful to us.
I’m GRATEFUL for the Beautiful experience, genuine hospitality and I forgot to mention the most important part, the food is ALWAYS AMAZING.
Craft you do things right!!
THANK YOU ❤️
The food was excellent. The pizza was perfectly crisp with that wood-fired flavor you can’t beat, and the Post-Apocalyptic Brunch plate was such a fun and flavorful combo, every bite hit! I also have to shout out the cappuccino… rich, smooth, and beautifully made.
As I was writing a review the waitress did come by and offer me a complementary coffee on the house. I am not sure if this was done because you noticed I was reviewing But I will get the benefit of the doubt and say it’s quite welcome. Overall rating of four stars for the food and a friendly although spotty service. How many stars do you give?
Having said that, the place was very empty so they were able to sit a part of 6 minor attitude from the only person that was sitting and taking orders.
Then we waited. And waited. And waited.
For some reason she could not hear one person’s order so we had to check every single time that she had all the orders in before she left.
Food was good and tasty. The portions are the right size, including the post apocalyptic breakfast. This one includes a little bit of everything on the breakfast/brunch menu. For me, the best was the avocado toast! The granola with fruits was also very delicious.
There is an automatic 20% tip added for groups of 6 or more which is fine but not so fine when the service has been zero to nonexistent.
In any case, the food was good so maybe we just need to try their other locations.
Plenty of areas to sit inside and outside. Street and parking garage available.
The Grove atmosphere abounds here and we chose to sit inside this time. Be forewarned—inside is LOUD acoustics! But, no matter, that’s not our focus. We are here for our brunch cocktails and FOOD!
We started with Grey Goose Bloody Marys. Great beginning! I chose my go to “LOCO”, which is THE best chicken & Waffles in the Grove! Yaaaaas, chicken is the perfect crunch and still juicy, atop fluffy waffles with maple syrup, next to fresh spiced watermelon chunk with greek yogurt dressing. The best of all worlds! Hubby chose post apocalyptic brunch plate. He loves that! He also had a macchiato. Prices are commensurate for the area, it will set you back, but it is a fun way to spend early afternoon with your chosen people on a random Weekend.
Shout out to Julieta, a lovely fine staff member—attentive, and made it enjoyable. Others checked in on us and all went well.
Overall a SOLID choice among MANY in this area of Miami! Thanks for following me, Tami in Miami
