While on vacation, we discovered this local soft serve ice cream spot, and it was such a treat! The ice cream was perfectly creamy and had that classic, nostalgic soft serve texture we love. The flavors were rich and satisfying, and the portions were generous. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere had a charming, small-town vibe that made it even more enjoyable. They ice cream sundae was good. However the twirl was a bit to be desired, the ingredients were not even mixed. I have always like the choices. But the cashier refused to take my cash because the bill was torn but I was given this bill from another establisment…it is legal tender. She said it can’t be dropped in the safe but yet it was put in the cash drawer. I had another bill but that was torn too but that was acceptable. My husband was not very friendly during the tranaction…upset they refused the cash. we finished the transaction and cashier closed the window. I was putting my change away. And could tell the cashier was talking about us and the other staff was looking. Terrible customer interaction…my question what if I didn’t have another bill? They even asked if I had a credit card instead.

Reese was absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked up, she had such a friendly attitude and a big smile that made the whole visit so much better. She was super patient, helpful with recommendations, and made sure my order was perfect. You can tell she really cares about her job and the customers — it’s rare to see that kind of positive energy and attention to detail these days.
The ice cream was great, but Reese’s service made it even better. Twistee Treat is lucky to have someone like her! I’ll definitely be coming back just because of how great she made the experience.

I’ve been coming here for years and have never been disappointed until today. I ordered a large strawberry sundae but was given what clearly looked like a small. When I asked about it, the employee at the window said they had changed their cup sizes and were “serving more ice cream in the cup,” but what I received definitely did not feel like a large. If this is true, it’s honestly not worth the price at all I can’t imagine what a small looks like now.To make matters worse, the banana split my husband ordered came with only half a banana and barely any ice cream. Overall, this experience was really disappointing compared to what we’ve come to expect after years of being loyal customers.

I’ve come to Twistee Treat fairly often over the past 4 years. During my visits I’ve never had a problem with the service. Their ice cream is always great, pretty affordable, and I personally think their cones and waffle parts of their waffle tacos are tastier than Cold Stone’s. Jayla has made my favorite sundae by far. I wish I had a picture to show off how well decorated and put together it was, but I devoured it before I thought to take a picture so.. ♂️

The employees here are great! This review is for the franchise owner! I tried to tip the server, just as I always do at the Bruce B Downs location and they said they “are NOT ALLOWED TO ACCEPT TIPS”!!! Servers rely on tips. How mean! The owners should be ashamed of themselves! Won’t come here again. Selfish rich people stink.

This is the place that claimed they have real ice cream soft serve. It is delicious. It’s kinda pricy. I had my first root beer float. I love it but is $6++I’ve not had it for nearly 20 years and because is so high in sugar I won’t do it again but I do love it!
