Beetroot tartare is the stuff of dreams! Delicate, and balanced.
Spicy octopus was like getting punched with flavor.
Foam cheese with guava sorbet was a unique treat, heavenly and light.
From the very beginning, we experienced some of the best service we’ve had in a long time. The waiter explained that their goal is to make guests feel at home, and they truly lived up to that promise. After about 20 minutes — filled with relaxed conversation about the menu — it genuinely felt like being welcomed into a friend’s home rather than dining at a restaurant.
The service was professional yet warm. Our waiter asked thoughtfully about allergies and preferences, clearly trying to understand how to give us the best possible evening. The menu itself is beautifully designed, categorized in a way that makes it easy to spot customer favorites, vegan dishes, meat options, and even a special section called Mama’s old recipes, which adds a lovely personal touch.
We decided on three starters, all customer favorites:
• Burek Classic – a Bosnian dish with spinach and cream. This was an absolute gem: surprising, comforting, and deeply flavorful.
• Beetroot Tartare – simple, clean, and incredibly delicious. Straightforward in the best possible way.
• Salad and Mushroom Tempura with Asparagus, served with a sauce reminiscent of béarnaise — crispy, fresh, and utterly yummy.
For the main course, we shared the Pappardelle with Mushroom and Summer Truffle. The flavors were rich and beautifully balanced, and the portion was generous enough to share comfortably.
The sommelier recommended wines by the glass, and every pairing was spot on, enhancing the food without overpowering it.
All in all, Bistro 100 Maneiras is an absolute must when visiting Lisbon. A place where outstanding food meets genuine hospitality.
We will be back.
It’s a well-designed space. We understandably couldn’t try any food as it was almost near closing, so I can’t speak to that. There were some other employees there that caused a bit of difficulty to us (I think they wanted to close quickly), but the bartender did an excellent job of calming them down and not ruining the experience for us as we hurriedly finished up. (We felt bad for keeping him even though it said it was open for longer.)
I’d say if you’re here for a meal, definitely give the signature cocktails a try!
The dishes were superb and the style of shared sides is a lot of fun to get more variety.
What a breath of fresh air it was to go to a proper restaurant, serving great product, with proper service, at a proper price. Truly this experience checked all the boxes. Nothing significant to complain about. Just all around a solid food experience.
Also the cocktails were great. Easily one of the best spots in the city to get a creative, well balanced, and exceptional cocktail.
This place is a must visit as it will become a regular in our roster for recommendations and visits.
From the first till last moment we enjoyed it.
We walked in and luckily they had space.
The lady who greeted us at the entrance was very sweet and helpful.
We got to our table and they communicated that my girlfriend was vegetarian (i told them when i asked for the menu at the entrance) and were greeted bij super hospitable servers.
The sommelier helped us with 2 amazing bottles of wines which we loved. Perfectly fitted to our wishes.
The explanation of the menu was clear and the suggestion of 2-3 starters together to share were perfect.
We ordered 4 starters (it was too much therefore listen to their suggestions haha) and they were lovely. The starters touched all the sweet spots and where toughtful, surprising and very very vega friendly.
As a main we ordered an amazing vegetarian pasta which was superb. The other main course we ordered was the steak with foie gras and fresh black truffle.
I work in hospitality and have been to many high end places where service is key, the food is amazing and the overall experience is amazing.
But this main course, this amazing main course was the best i have EVER had, the cousion was amazing, the foie gras melted like butter with an amazing crispy outside en the jus de veaux with it was so deep in flavour it brought tears to my eyes.
This is a must visit in Lisbon and i would highly recommend this to everyone.
Thanks again and i know where i’m headed whenever i’m back in Lisbon!
Obrigado❤️
