Had this at Mekuni. Went for something off the menu and asked for a double lobster roll. It was amazing, super fresh, huge, and totally worth the $30. If you’re tired of the usual rolls, definitely ask them to make it your way. They’ll nail it. Highly recommend

I was invited here by a friend who has a silver membership and I was absolutely blown away by the quality of sushi here, fresh, and packed full of flavors! Not surprised why there was a queue before it even opened. Friendly staff and service. Casual, clean dining area.

I had so much fun celebrating my friend’s birthday at Mikuni Sushi. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and the specialty rolls were served at the perfect temperature. Everything tasted amazing! We enjoyed it with a glass of champagne, which made the celebration even more special. Such a great place for good food and good memories.

When we used to live in the area, we came all the time and always had a great experience. Nothing has changed. We came back for a visit and had dinner. The server did a great job and she was very attentive. Even though their menu has changed slightly, everything is still delicious and it had a great vibe and atmosphere. One of our favorite things was spinning the wheel when it’s your birthday. Lots of fond memories.

When you’re looking for quality sushi without spending a fortune, Mikuni is a great choice. Since moving to the area, we’ve visited three of their locations, and each one has delivered a consistently positive experience. It’s easily one of the best value-for-money sushi spots we’ve found around here.

Long time staple in the area (decades), never had a bad experience here. There have been times (dinner) where the wait times were 15+ minutes, but that is the nature of the industry. Food and ambiance are good… pricing on the higher end, though.

Mikuni has a great reputation for Sushi already, and this new location did not disappoint. Beautifully appointed restaurant, two bars, sushi, and drink. Lots of seating. The fish was fresh. The plates were beautiful, and the food was delicious. The staff was attentive. I arrived hyst before happy hour ended, but the waitress allowed me to order starters for the table with just two minutes left, even though my friends weren’t there yet. We’ll definitely return.

Mikuni in Fair Oaks is one of the oldest Mikuni in the Sacramento area. But it still keeps up very well with excellent food and service. They are one of the most famous Japanese restaurants in town. The menu includes many different choices. It is suitable for a whole family, a group of friends, a couple, or even a solo.
I love their delicious sushi rolls and sashimi. The service is great and fast. The parking lot is big and very safe.
