This was not a good experience. The food quality was not up to basic standards. The shrimp were over cooked, the 8oz filet was loaded with gristle and was very tough. On top of that their, the coke dispenser or ice had a terrible metallic taste indicating it was not cleaned or maintained properly. There was no one in the restaurant when we arrived around 2 pm and we waited 5 minutes or so just to be seated. Our waiter was helpful, but he was limited by what the overall restaurant was capable of delivering. The broccoli was gray and overcooked.

When we went the service and everything was pretty good. The restaurants clean the service were nice the food even looks appetizing. But once you taste it that’s the problem. I ordered the spinach dip as an appetizer. It just tastes like spinach and cream without any flavor. 3 out of 10. I had a side salad. It seems as if it was only all the light pieces of the iceberg lettuce. My wife’s side salad what’s multiple shades of green. 3 out 10. My main dish was a filet wrapped in bacon with a loaded baked potato. I like A1 steak sauce they were out of A1. So I ate the steak as is my steak tastes as if it had no seasoning on it at all. I’m not being mean but this is probably the worst filet I’ve ever had. 3 out 10. The loaded baked potatoes is probably the best part of the meal. 4 out of 10. My overall rating would be a 4 out of 10

But due to the fact that it didnt taste like anything I didnt send it back because I wasn’t going to eat it anyways. The side salad was the best thing I had. Spinach dip had absolutely no taste. With this being my 1st visit I was very disappointed. The reviews seemed to be decent but it was not worth the money. Im not sure if the main cook was off but they need some revamping.

I order the ribs and the fish mine was absolutely delicious. Also I loved those hot buttered rolls. Our server was very friendly and very helpful on items to order, and it was well worth the wait. The only thing that I dislike is when you are a party, it shouldn’t be a time limit that you have to leave. We had to leave because they said they have another party coming in, which I think that shouldn’t be especially if they don’t tell you upfront that you have a time limit. Other than that I enjoyed myself.

The restaurant was a good environment, our food was not very good at all. It was over cooked and lacked flavor. We have been here one other time that was a great experience with great food but the most recent experience had me change my 5 star to 3. The server acted like she did not want to be there and we were in her way. Contrary to the first time we experienced a great server. So we are 50/50 on whether or not we will be back.

Went on a Wednesday at 7pm. Out of 6oz and 10 oz sirloin. Ordered the 10oz smoked sirloin they had and green beans. Steak had little smoke and flavor and they gave me 2 smaller thin steaks instead of a full 10oz steak like you would normally get. Also green beans were out of stock also.

This is my go to place about every other Tuesday night. I normally order the same thing. So on 2/9/25 after being without power for days(ice storm) I decided I needed some down time so I went in. The lady at front was very nice and seated me right a way. Now the server, she needed some pep in her step. I asked for an appetizer to go and ordered my normal which is a Caesar salad, loaded pototoe and chopped steak. My tea ran low right out of the gate, after waiting for her to even come get my order. I ordered my chopped steak medium. It comes w onion anglers on top. Almost 45 min and my meal arrives minus the salad. The meat is rare rare rare. I have to wait until I see her to send it back. She grabs my plate and returns about 10 min later, the crispy anglers are under the steak at this point and have soaked up all the rare juice from earlier. The potatoes didn’t even melt the butter. I ask for a manager. She comes out and I explain she said ok, and gets my plate and said the tea is on us. See ya next time. I was already emotional from the last two weeks, and the lady at the front stopped me. I just said I had a free appetizer that I never recieved, etc. She ask me to speak w general manager but after being there 1 hour I was over it. I guess I will find a new place to dine on Tuesday as my hubs is out of town every Tuesday so I go there. Oh well, no one seemed to care to even make it right, except the hostess but by then I was over talking. I was not expecting a free meal, just good service and good food.

Food: The rolls were amazing! Hot & Fresh. Our meal came out and I questioned the cheddar cheese on my grilled chicken. It melted and tasted like American cheese. I asked and it is “American cheddar cheese.” It had zero notes of cheddar. My husband and I both had bacon on our grilled chicken that was limp and minimally cooked. It was unappetizing. I agree with other reviewers that everything needs seasoning—including the fries. I had to salt (and pepper) my fries even. The manager offered to refire or replace my meal but I declined. Stick with their steaks—they are usually good.

Drove from Collierville to visit Colton’s. Our waitress was great, no issues with her service. Our issues were with the bar area. The language and overly loud employee working the area was totally unacceptable. Confronted her about her language, no apology or attempt to explain. When someone uses the F bomb in front of customers, this is not the type of establishment I will be visiting again. Nor would I consider it if I have children. The GM was unavailable at the time so I called him later in the evening. He wasn’t overly concerned and said his employee had been there 10 years with no complaints about her from customers.
The food was fair, nothing exceptional. Best part of the meal was the side salad.
In my opinion, better options and atmospheres to visit. Maybe those things wouldn’t bother some people, but we will not be returning to Colton’s.
