I’ve been going to this place for over 12 years and have probably been here more than 200 times, so this review is long overdue. It’s one of my go-to spots for margaritas and tacos and a great place for happy hour, lunch, or dinner. It’s easily one of my favorite places in town for tripa and lengua tacos.
The staff has always been great, but over my last few visits I’ve really noticed an even better vibe and energy throughout the restaurant. Huge credit to Jon, the new manager he’s doing an awesome job. He’s consistently checking on guests, making sure everyone is taken care of, and it shows in how happy and engaged the staff seems to be.
Great food, fast service, and a welcoming atmosphere every time. Definitely a spot I’ll keep going back to.

I had an amazing experience at Machete Tequila + Tacos! The food was absolutely delicious everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The service was just as impressive. Our waitress was incredible (I wish I remembered her name!) she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made the whole experience even better. She checked on us at the perfect times and had such a positive attitude that made us feel really welcome. Overall, great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others!

Arrachera tacos were pretty awesome. A wonderful combination of flavors on the palette. I went ahead amd washed it down with a spirited Cadillac margarita. Definitely going back next time I visit. Oh, and the decor was top notch.

Food was amazing! We started with the calma borrachos, and they were absolutely delicious to share with my husband. The chips with four different salsas were the perfect start. The tripa tacos are 100% recommended, and the ahi tuna tostadas were an easy 10/10.
Johan was our server and bartender, and both his service and drinks were outstanding. I’ll definitely be back with friends who will love the ambiance of this place just as much as we did.

I’m extremely disappointed with our experience tonight. In the middle of our dinner, we were asked to move from our table so it could be given to another party. We were already seated and dining, which made the situation very uncomfortable and unprofessional.
We even offered an extra table that was next to us to help accommodate them, but despite that, we were still moved.
To make up for it, we were promised a 20% discount and a complimentary dessert. In the end, we only received a 15% discount, and the “dessert” we were given was clearly an afterthought (see photo). It felt more like something quickly thrown together rather than a genuine attempt to make things right.
We also asked to speak with a manager, but no one ever came to address our concerns.
Overall, the lack of communication, follow-through, and respect for seated guests made this a very disappointing experience. I expected much better service.

Great tacos and fantastic range of salsas. Complimentary cookie at the end was a nice touch. Tacos are $5-6 but plenty of meat.

I stopped at this place on a trip through Denver. Turned out to be solid. Their Al Pastor taco doesn’t rival the ones in Mexico, but it’s still a really good taco. I was super impressed with the creativity and flavor of the pollo taco. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating and service was fast. Cost per taco is $5.50. I would stop back in this place when passing through town again. Go check it out!

I was visiting for a graduation and wanted a place to celebrate my friend. We found this place with a google search because we love tequila and took a chance. I’m glad that we did. Laura was an amazing server. She answered all of our questions, had great recommendations, and was very attentive. The tequila selection was great and the food was delicious. Definitely will return when back in town.
