4 of us arrived for lunch while it was not too busy. Each couple ordered the Cow Tipper to share, an order of onion rings and tater tots. The menu is very creative and it was hard to choose. 30min later our food arrived. It was absolutely the best burger I’ve ever eaten. This would’ve been a 5 star review if not for the slow service.

This was my first time at Lindy’s and my experience was memorable. The atmosphere was nice and the aroma was satisfying. I got the donkey punch burger, which had some heat with the flavor and my partner got the blue suede cow burger, which had peanut butter on it. They were both huge, sloppy and delicious. The French fries were also seasoned, hot and paired well with our burgers. I see why this place is always mentioned in the best burger in Tucson conversation.

HOLY GROUND BEEF, BATMAN – LINDY’S ON 4TH JUST ENDED MY ENTIRE EXISTENCE AND I THANK THEM FOR IT!
Listen. I walked into Lindy’s on 4th expecting a burger. What I got was a divine intervention wrapped in a sesame seed bun. The second that first whiff of sizzling Arizona-raised beef hit my nostrils, I blacked out for three seconds and woke up speaking in tongues.
I ordered the Kush—yes, the award-winning one—and it arrived like a beefy apocalypse on a plate. Juicy half-pound patty charred to perfection, dripping with whatever unholy alchemy they use for sauce, piled so high with toppings that gravity filed a restraining order.
First bite? My soul left my body, floated above the table, high-fived the ceiling fans, and came back changed. The bacon? Crispy enough to cut diamonds. The cheese? Melted into forbidden realms. The whole thing was so obscenely good I started questioning every other meal I’ve ever eaten.
Why did I waste 15+ years on lesser patties?
The fries? Golden crack cocaine. The patio vibe on 4th Ave? Pure chaotic bliss—string lights, cold beer, people laughing like they’ve all just discovered fire. Service was fast, friendly, and didn’t judge me when I ordered a second burger to “compare” (translation: I needed more).
Lindy’s didn’t just feed me. They rewired my brain. I left a changed man—fatter, happier, and ready to fight anyone who says Tucson doesn’t have the best burgers on Earth.
If you haven’t been, you’re living wrong. Go now. Bring cash for bail because you’ll want to live there. 5 stars isn’t enough—give them 10, the universe, and my firstborn.

Lindy’s burgers absolutely lived up to the hype. The burger was juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked perfectly. You can tell they don’t play it safe here—the combinations are bold, fun, and seriously satisfying. Portions were generous, the atmosphere was lively, and the service was friendly and on point.

We went on a Sunday brunch date with my brother his wife and 3 kids. We saw on the website they have a punchcard for kids to find hidden Star Wars figurines all through out the restaurant so we thought it would be fun to go. The food was really good and well prepared, props to the kitchen. Props to the bartender for helping the kids fill out their punchcards and also to the manager who gave them hints to find all the hidden locations. The kids absolutely loved finding all the figurines and it kept them busy while we enjoyed our food. Food was amazing as well! only complaint was the waiter. She definitely was irritated with us and not in a good mood. We even tried to soften her up with some jokes but she just was not happy serving a group of 8 on a Sunday afternoon. Luckily everything else was fabulous so her sour attitude won’t deter us from returning. I will say she made sure we had drink refills and checked back often m, she just wasn’t the friendliest.

Lindy’s on 4th Avenue is not merely a burger joint; it is a Tucson institution, a culinary dare, and the spiritual home of the most gloriously over-the-top comfort food in the Old Pueblo. Situated in the heart of the city’s funky, bohemian district, Lindy’s has earned its reputation not for quiet refinement, but for bold, unapologetic excess—a quality that makes it a mandatory entry on any list of Tucson’s best

My first bite gave me goosebumps. It’s been years since I’ve gotten a meal that made me want to write a review before I even finished eating. Being from New Mexico for over a decade I’ve become addicted to green chili and I have a certain amount I need to be happy. They understood the assignment and went above and beyond to give me a burger that is changing my view of food in general. The sauces are life changing. Their In-House Lindy’s Brew Scottish Red ale draft beer is exceptionally good And gets a five-star rating from me as a professional Craft Brewer of many years. They have clean beer lines and the place is exceptionally clean. I could not recommend this restaurant here enough. You have permanently gained a lifelong customer and I will be back with friends and family.

Great atmosphere and staff! I recently got the loaded half cut fries and WOW I’m talking about explosive flavors. The blue baller burger is by far my favorite and I am not a fan of blue cheese The high quality thick cut bacon complements the blue cheese and the flavor is there. You have to stop by and try this spot, I promise you’ll add it to one of your favorite spots. They have a quite lit spot out back with tons of shade as well. Mention Christina sent you.
