Founded by a group of chef friends who dreamed of opening a burger joint, Tasty Burger opened its first location behind the historic Fenway Park in Boston, Mass. in 2010. A modern fast food neighborhood burger restaurant, Tasty Burger quickly became known as the city’s favorite spot to grab a great-tasting burger. To quote my girlfriend: “Tasty Burger? More like yucky burger!” She definitely didn’t enjoy the experience. We got 1 turkey burger, 1 cheeseburger with onion rings and tater tots on the side. The turkey burger didn’t taste rather fresh. The rest of the food was just okay, but to our utter horror, we cleaned our trays only to find a puddle of oil leaking from the onion ring container. As you can imagine, this was quite the turnoff. We won’t be visiting this location again. Perhaps others are better.

I received this meal and was told it was acceptable, but it was clearly only half a patty. I approached the attendant and said, “What is this? You gave me half a burger.” He stated that this is the correct portion for a kids’ meal. I’m wondering if this is the standard across all Tasty Burger locations, because if so, this issue needs to be addressed.

Waited patiently for far longer than I should have at the takeout window until the two workers finished their personal conversation before acknowledging me. Returning home, I found that the burgers I had ordered well done had a raw center. Contacted the website and haven’t heard back from them. Oh well, buyer beware I guess. EDIT: They later got back to me after my review was posted with an apology, refund, and gift card. So I’ll give them another chance-hopefully this was just a one-time thing.

The gent at the register was great, very friendly and helpful. Not much to the atmosphere of the place, but you can sit at the window and people watch. So maybe I should give atmosphere 4 stars? The food was better than average fast food. I could eat totchos all day, every day!

I went into TB yesterday 2/9 early around 11:30 a.m. while was waiting on the Chicago train. It was absolutely ridiculously cold in Back Bay station (I was literally turning blue) so I decided to do lunch in TB!!!! Well I can say that with certainty the burger I got was one of the absolute best burgers I have ever eaten!!!!! It was fresh, hot and cooked perfectly!! The young man who waited on me was so nice and thoroughly professional. The actual restaurant was spotlessly clean also. I am at this station a lot and this is my first time going to TB but it most definitely will not be my last.

Having just landed late at night at BOS from a 15+ hour flight from Hong Kong, I was yearning for a good ole American burger, so I used Ubereats to order from Tasty Burger. I chose this place based on the positive reviews I read and they were pretty much spot on! The food I got was pretty darn good! The fries were really nice, but the onion rings tasted nice, they just needed to be a little bigger. The burger was great. Chili that came with the fries was tasty too. I can see why they have good reviews!

As a huge fan of Tasty burger and frequent customer, I had a VERY unpleasant experience in this location. We arrived (group of 4) at 1:20 am (the website hours say it closes at 2:00 am) – they let us buy food and serve us at around 1:35, only for the employees to come out of the kitchen and start yelling and kicking everyone out at 1:40. Mind you, it’s 0 degrees outside and we ask him if we can please just quickly finish eating because it’s very cold out and there’s nowhere to go/sit, and his response is: no you have to leave now because we’re closed now, the website says 2 am but that’s the time we all go home. I understand workers have schedules and specific work hours but the website and door hours shouldn’t say it’s open until 2 if they’re gonna kick you out to the street at 1:40.

This was our first time ordering from Tasty Burger, and unfortunately it will be our last. The food arrived cold, the fries were hard, and my husband’s bacon cheeseburger didn’t even have bacon. My kids’ chicken nuggets were so hard they were inedible. We also didn’t receive the totchos or the root beer we ordered. Overall, a really disappointing experience.

This was my first time eating here and it far exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Tasty Burger with fries, a drink, and I added fries mozzarella on the side. I didn’t modify the burger at all and it was amazing just as is! The meat was seasoned perfectly, the pickles and lettuce were crispy and the tomato was juicy.
It tasted as fresh as one I’d make on my own BBQ at home. I have a new go to every time I’m here for work.
The atmosphere is great and all of the staff were incredibly friendly.
