Old lady working was RUDE. she cut us off and rushed us at the drive through, didn’t get the order right, and failed to give me a receipt. We decided to go in, where she tried to start an argument with me and embarrass me in front of other customers. Upon having to go inside to ask for my receipt, she rudely ripped mine from a crazy long line of other receipts- indicating that she hasn’t been giving them to other customers either. Upon inspecting the receipt I noticed she up-charged me a dollar for “extra cheese” on my cheese fries (after already paying the extra money for cheese fries in general) when I didn’t ask for it and proceeded to try to argue with me as I attempted to figure out what the charge was for. Finally, she told me that the restaurant has been receiving complains on their cheese fries not having enough cheese so they started up-charging. Doing this without mentioning it to the customer, failing to update prices, and failing to give receipts is unacceptable, on top of that she was being disrespectful and genuinely tried to embarrass me in front of the other customers for calling her out on charging me extra without notifying me. Finally, she ended up taking a dollar change out of the register and slapping it on my hand with blatant disrespect. Totally unprofessional she completely ruins the experience and atmosphere here. Food was trash but I assume she had something to do with the quality of my order

First time here. My hubby and I ordered the double cheeseburger combo and an order of onion rings. The food is okay but what makes it great are the prices.
The cheeseburger doesn’t have much flavor. The meat is thin but still a good size.
The crinkle fries are good just like the frozen ones you buy from the store.
The onion rings are crispy and fresh tasting. Really enjoyed those.
The customer service was good for us. Definitely a place to check out.

This place is a hole in the wall. It looks really run down. I honestly don’t care about the way it looks because I was there for the food. This is not a gourmet burger place. This is just an honest, hands down regular burger.. you cannot beat the prices and for a regular burger, this place is awesome!!! I guarentee I’ll be back. What you get for what you pay for is well worth it. I hope they leave it the same and keep producing great burgers! This was a welcome surprise!!

Stoped by today in the drive-through with Family,food there was good before that is why we had continued to go back not anymore. The lady in the front is rude. I don’t know if it’s because she was distracted with the child that they had that is probably to be no older than three years old, I’m assuming that’s why she got our order wrong twice and then got mad about it. I asked the guy to take our order supposed to be we can Have plenty of ketchup and napkins he stated sorry I could only give you what I can of course that’s after we paid otherwise I would’ve gone elsewhere on top of that, we get home to this every double that we had got from the three had a regular size meat and a smaller meat pictures in the bottom definitely will not return again. I hardly ever do reviews, but I made it today.

I moved to SA a few years go and people kept hyping the burger joint up until I finally got around it to trying it. The restaurant is old school. Intercom to place yur order in need to be updated. Speed of service is slow thru drive thru. I like the variety of meals they have. The murf burger is basicly a replica of the Whataburger only cheaper so that’s a good thing. All in all I give the place a 3 1/2 out of 5.

Great chili burgers, onion rings, and milk shakes. Very reasonable prices. Drive thru is slow but well worth it. For those of you from the west coast this is the closest to Tommy’s chili burgers your going to find in San Antonio.

An older place but don’t let appearance fool you. These burgers are really good. Nice flavor and a great value for the amount of food you receive. The burger is juicy and not dry. This is a small burger joint in town but a hidden gem. They also have half price burgers on Thursday after 5. The fries are good and you’re going to receive hot food and not preheated food. Make no mistake this is a fastfood burger but certainly better than others. Don’t judge a book by its cover you won’t be disappointed!

We’ve been going to Murf’s for quite some time because not only do they have great prices but the food is good. If you’ve never been, I definitely recommend to at least try them out!

We went on a Thursday to try their 1/2 price burgers. It is only on Thursdays from 5pm-11pm. The burger patty was very thin & a bit dry. The French fries were ok. I would recommend you buy an extra patty for your burger. The onion rings were good. We went through their drive through and they served us pretty quickly. I think we will pass for now on. There were so many people there that we didn’t want to go inside because of the many people and the establishment looked small.
