Rudy’s “Country Store” and Bar-B-Q is Awesome!
Huge thanks to Kimberly, Seth, and the entire team! The whole crew was upbeat, friendly, and clearly enjoyed working together! The atmosphere was light, welcoming, and full of good vibes.
The food? Absolutely fantastic. I got to sample a few meats I wouldn’t normally try, and I was so glad I did. I ended up ordering the peppered sirloin, jalapeño sausage, and 3-bean casserole. Every bite was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly.
This was my first visit, but definitely not my last! It’s a great spot for large groups, and the overall experience, from the service to the food, was top-notch. Thanks again for having us!

I’m personally the biggest fan of South Carolina Barbeque, but before you crucify me for my opinion, Ruby’s produces the best brisket I’ve had for reasonable prices (way better than California “brisket” for 50% more).
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful as it was my first time here. Prime rib was delicious, sausage was nice and snappy, but the moist brisket was the star of the show. Can’t believe I’m saying it, but Rudy’s is by far my favorite Texas Barbeque location!

Good BBQ spot, good bbq sandwich, everything is separate here, no meal deals or anything. Definitely kind of confusing for anyone visitng for the first time.

I love all the food here! By far the best brisket I have ever tried!! My favorites are the lean and moist brisket, the pork and the jalapeño sausage, they are just delicious! I really love all the flavors of the meats and the sides! They have a good selection of beers and drinks (see pictures). The place has a great environment and there are different nice and spacious dinning areas including a little bar area as well! Staff is very friendly and the prices are very fair! The only downside is that you can’t buy extra bread of the bread they use for the sandwiches, I have asked twice for it and they can only give you pieces of the traditional loaf white bread but it’s not the same! They have an access ramp!

Tired of the hotel food ? Been to Waffle House too many times ? Here’s an unexpected spot for breakfast. I dined in, but saw a steady line of drive through customers mostly in work trucks. That’s a testimony in itself. I had the breakfast taco with jalapeño sausage. Two of the makes a pretty hefty meal. Plus the ice tea gets free refills on the inside. Enjoy.

One of the better bbq restaurants around. Im a little disappointed they only have breakfast tacos and no breakfast sandwich options but I don’t think breakfast is a large part of their business. I’d love a “grilled cheese” with a fried egg and sliced brisket inside for breakfast. If anyone with power to make this happen is reading please add this as an option to your breakfast menu

I go there for the southern hospitality. The service is a ho.etown pace that you need to breathe in, learn to enjoy. Their meats are freshly sliced in front of you. Freshly prepared. I felt it was a bit pricey for wet meat. $60= 1/2 meats, 2 desserts, 4 buns.

I was bummed about the food portions. The service was great, but it’s wild to pay nine bucks for a sandwich with less meat than a Whataburger single patty. I remember when it was seven bucks and you got more meat.

This Rudy’s location is consistently good. I like their smoked potatoes loaded with turkey or pork loin. Pulled pork sandwiches are good as well. Rudy’s does not have a fryer, so no fries or fried okra, but lots of other sides to choose from. I bought a bottle of their Sissy Sause to take home.
