Ria’s Bluebird on Memorial Drive SE in Atlanta serves plate-based dishes in a lively, friendly, hippie vibe. An automatic 20% tip is added. The tasty food, great service, and reasonable prices make it worth returning to. Eric and I will definitely come back!

Vibes were great, they got us in really quick on an early Sunday morning and the Fancy Egg special (green shakshuka) was honestly life changing. I’m usually the slowest eater at every table and my bowl was empty and I had 10 minutes to day dream about the meal I’d just enjoyed while I waited for everyone else to finish. We’ll absolutely be back.

Longtime customers turned into never coming back again.

Didn’t want to write this review. We waited an hour to be seated for poor service and a bug in our food.

When flagging this concern to our server, she confirmed it was a bug but said, “That just means it’s really fresh!”. Upon returning from the kitchen, she started laughing and said we were all wrong because ‘chef said it’s the end of a green onion’. You be the judge if that looks like the end of a green onion.

Server offered to comp us for the trouble. Once the bill came around, there was nothing comped. At this point, we’re about 2 hours into this and we politely asked about the bill. She seemed annoyed, and honestly like she forgot the comp but did comp our coffees and not the entree.

For $72, we spent 2.5 hours on food with a bug in it and being gaslit. Really disappointed with this visit.

Wow is this place good. I came from out of town because my friend recommended me this place and I AM SO HAPPY that I came here.

The food is incredible. I came for lunch and had their sandwich special, and their brisket melt. That melt is probably in my top 5 sandwiches of all time. Not only was the main dish good, but the sides and their hibiscus drink was delicious!!

Atmosphere is so homey and everyone is so nice. Great spot. The pickles here are super good also, if that’s something you’re interested in.

First time eating here and my best friend and I enjoyed every moment. We loved our server he was so attentive and a true conversationalist! Didn’t like that we had to sit outside to wait. It was cold even coming from me being from New England.

Love the atmosphere on the place. A classic. The cortado was great. Food was creative. Always a plus for any place that offers avocado. Would love to see smoked salmon on the menu as an omelette option.

It has a very small parking lot. May have to park on the side of the street or in the lot next to it. Customer service was great. There was a large party waiting to be seated, and they were provided updates while they waited. Our wait time was 30 minutes. They seemed to keep the tables turning. Then we were next. I ordered the London Fog, which was the earl grey tea with frosted milk and vanilla bean syrup, but I didn’t taste the vanilla. It was served with the tea bag in the cup. I ordered the fish and grits special. It was not your ordinary fried combo. It was blackened catfish topped with collard greens pesto and tomato jam. Served on top of pimento cheese grits. It was chefs’ kiss. It was my first time there. I’m glad I got it, but I was sad that it wasn’t a permanent menu item. I will have to call up there before I go now. Just to see if it will be served. There is a 20% gratuity on every order. Good thing service was great.

There’s usually at least a 25 – 40 minute outdoor wait, but it’s worth it! We usually go and put our name down on the waiting list and then go for a stroll in the area. The food itself is always delicious and the vibes are lovely! It’s a small and cozy restaurant. Plenty of parking in the area surrounding the restaurant.

Stopped in here for breakfast during a day trip to Atlanta and didn’t disappoint. Heavily recommended online for a reason! Friendly staff, good atmosphere, and great dishes. Pancakes and omelettes were both awesome (and large) and the drink menu has some great coffee/tea options as well!

I tried Ria’s today and was delighted by the meal I had. Upon arriving, they had a small parking lot, but I decided to park on the street, because it was easier for me to get out. We put our name in for 3, we arrived near 9:45 on a Saturday, and the wait was only about 20-30 minutes. Everyone was friendly. I liked the uniqueness of the menu. Got a lavender iced coffee, and the syrup was delicious (house made I believe). I ordered the shrimp and grits. I must say the poblano peppers and maple reduction created a colorful melody of flavors and was so good. I would definitely come here again.
