We had medu vada, masala ghee podi dosa, and of course the filter coffee — everything was spot on. The dosa was perfectly crisp, the podi added a lovely kick, and the filter coffee was just what you expect at the end of a great meal. ☕
Service was good as well — friendly and efficient. Definitely a solid place if you’re craving authentic South Indian food in Reading. Highly recommended!

This review is not about the staff. The staff are the best, humble and hardworking. It’s about extortionate prices for tiny portions. Dosa, their staple is fermented rice and lentils. It’s not even fermented properly here, you MUST address this. Improperly fermented idly is very bad for the stomach and can cause gastric issues. It’s not just them, all south indian restaurants taking short cuts here. You are charging extremely high prices for the cheap ingredients you use. Prices are ridiculous and your customers feel ripped off. They’re just not telling you the truth. I come out of desperation. But why we cannot serve food like same standard in India is these short cuts on ingredients.

Please do come and visit the friendly atmosphere and experience the food trust me it delicious not comparing with other restaurant but one of the best South Indian dishes…. I Felt like home…not more than that

We tried south indian food at a restaurant in slough before but compare to that this place is on another level. I have tried the best dosa ever crispy, fresh, and full of authentic taste. The Bombay thali was also excellent, very flavour full and just like proper indian home made food.
The service was very warm and welcoming, felt very homely. Sachi dil khush hogya.
If you want real indian food with authentic taste, this place is a must try. Highly recommended.

i cant lie this was the middest restaurant food ive had in a minute . there was virtually no spice in any of our dishes at all (idk if that was just cuz i pulled up with white people) but even without the hot kick, the seasonings themselves on the dishes were just… not good? im usually not a picky eater at all but i found myself leaving half my plate empty (to which i usually take it home but i seriously didnt want to eat it again). the service was fine idk they took quite a while bringing out the food but it wasn’t offensive in any way. the location is also pretty nice. maybe what we just ordered weren’t great off the menu and some other dishes are top notch but ♂️ i am not heading back here ever again

Soooo happy I found this place today. I was missing Kerala food and this hit the spot. We had the masala dosa, the masala Vada and gobi Manchurian with tea and fresh juice. Yummy fermented goodness. My soul is happy.

Excellent buffet experience in Reading. We came from Oxford and the food was really good. Everything was fresh and tasty. The best part was they served dosa and poori directly on request, hot and fresh — not many places do that. Service was very good. Fully satisfied

It’s been one year since we started coming here, and the improvement is absolutely amazing. Earlier it was not that good, but now it is 100% perfect.
We had Onion Podi Dosa, Parotta, Mini Idly and Onion Rava — everything tasted very fresh, flavourful and perfectly cooked.
The service was also excellent — staff were very polite, quick and well organised.
We are extremely happy and fully satisfied. Highly recommended!

A Delightful Onam Sadya
Thank you for the fantastic Onam Sadya! The feast was truly an “amirtham” (divine nectar). Every single dish was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor.
A special shout-out to the Pal Ada Pradhaman and the Jackfruit Payasam—they were standout desserts and a perfect way to end the meal. The Aviyal and Erissery were also excellent; the balance of spices and textures was just right.
It’s clear that a lot of care and tradition went into preparing this meal. We truly appreciate the wonderful experience❤️
