Brother/Sister in love treated me and my husband to the Melting Pot. It was an amazing experience for our first time. The menu is easy to read and understand how to put your meal together. My old fashioned was delicious. Cooking our food was fun. Our server Gabe was so patient with us and answered all questions. Nice atmosphere and we will definitely go back. I’m not one to leave a bad review but I feel there is a need for it. While the service was excellent, especially for having a new server and training, the entree on the other hand was not the best. The Melting Pot in Troy is me and my boyfriend’s Anniversary dinner spot. We might give it one more try next year. For the entree, I got the 3 steaks and he got duck, shrimp, and teriyaki steak with a lobster tail added on. Without a doubt they don’t give you as much anymore and there was just something off about all the meat. I can’t tell you if it was the flavor or cut of meat but I will say it was very disappointing. The lobster tail seemed old and was not good. The cheese was good, the drinks were good, and the chocolate and dippers were good as well. The lettuce in the salad was old and browned and the tomatoes were old and mushy. I will say that they also don’t fill the pot for the cheese and chocolate as much anymore either. Hoping that they can do a little better especially for the price. The Melting Pot used to totally be worth the price but I wouldn’t say the same anymore. Like I said in the beginning the service was great, not the servers fault one bit.

He went above and beyond to make our five-year anniversary feel so special—attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about our experience. You can tell he loves what he does, and it made a huge difference. We left feeling celebrated and already talking about our next visit. Definitely will be back! ❤️

We had the absolute BEST night at The Melting Pot in Troy. From the second we walked in, everything felt elevated. the restaurant is beautifully designed, super clean, cozy but upscale at the same time. It’s giving date night energy, anniversary vibes, celebration central.
The food? Unreal. Every course was incredible. The cheese fondue was rich and flavorful, the entrées were perfectly prepared, and the chocolate fondue at the end was basically happiness in a pot. It’s not just dinner, it’s an experience. You slow down, you laugh, you cook together. 10/10.
But the real MVP of the night was our waiter, Gabe.
Gabe went ABOVE and beyond. He was attentive without hovering, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, made amazing recommendations, and genuinely made us feel taken care of. You can tell he cares about what he does. He anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask and kept the entire experience flowing perfectly. He truly made it the best experience.
Every staff member we interacted with was attentive and kind, and the whole team worked together seamlessly. You could feel the positive energy.
If you’re thinking about going. do it. Ask for Gabe. You will not regret it. We’ll absolutely be back.

My boyfriend and I had a very delayed Valentine’s Day dinner here & our server Jessie J was incredible! We let him know what we were celebrating & he went above & beyond to ensure it felt like actual Valentine’s Day! He got us some chocolate covered strawberries complementary and did up our plate to look very nice! Our food was awesome, drinks were great and the experience was awesome, we can’t wait to be back! I have been going there for many years and there has always been consistently quality service and quality food. We came in for Valentine’s Day and really enjoyed our experience overall. We made reservations and we did have to wait a bit longer than expected but it wasn’t a big deal, especially given the holiday.
Our server was Noah and he was pleasant and prompt! Phenomenal service. We thought everything was delicious. It was my first time here and I definitely want to come back. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the courses and the drinks we got were good too. My only complaint is that my stomach wasn’t bigger, you get so much food!

We took our daughter here for her 13th birthday, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. We were seated right away without a reservation, which was a great surprise, but honestly the service alone would’ve made the wait worth it.
Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about giving us a great night. Great experience for the fondue lovers. This is also a great spot to bring your loved ones. They will do a rose petal setup on the table for an extra charge but it’s not much. The service is also pretty good and food came out in a decent time. The dessert section was favourite part.
