Had such a great experience here. Lived on the east side my whole life and its so nice to see a place like this exist. When we went it was pretty busy, but the woman working front of house who I assume was the owner was so nice and friendly. She easily moved between tables bringing us our amazing honey, pistachio lattes and then coming back to chat when things slowed down. It is a pretty small space, not a ton of tables but had such a warm, welcoming vibe. And the food! Omg the food. We had these crepes that were life changing. Like the coffee they had a baklava inspired taste, but they were also kind of nutty and I want to say spicy but not in a heat way and more of the kinds of spices and herbs they used. It really helped balance out the sweetness of the honey syrup they were soaked in and the pistachios. This is a must try and we will absolutely be back and are so glad they decided to call the east side home ❤️

My partner and I really enjoyed our meals! We could tell that the food was cooked with great ingredients and with great care! My partner had the arancini and it was perfection. All of the flavors were balanced and bright! I had the lukanka salami sandwich and it was so flavorful without being too heavy. We also really loved the service and the atmosphere. The owner has a lot of love for the restaurant and it’s apparent! We will absolutely be back!

It was a quiet cold Saturday morning. I found an intriguing space, an interesting menu, friendly helpful staff, a perfect latte and a wonderfully different dish that included fabulously tasty whole food ingredients. I ordered the moussaka bowl. Slices of eggplant topped with a beautiful bolognaise style meat sauce and accompanied by crunchy breaded zucchini spears. (I asked to skip the French fries, though handcut fries would likely have been top notch as well if i wasn’t limiting carbs.) I will be back! – I had already dug into the dish before I thought to take a picture.

I had shakshuka and a chicken sandwich, and they both tasted so wholesome and healthy. The vanilla latte was amazing; they even make their own vanilla syrup. The pistachio latte was rich and delicious, too. The interior was very impressive and added to the whole experience.

Came in for date night and was very impressed! Great vibe, kind staff, and delicious food. We got the special (ratatouille flowers) and the bolognese orzo dish. Both amazing. Also so happy they have coffee for after dinner!

We had an amazing brunch here! Highlights are the unique food options and flavor combinations paired with great customer service. 10/10 recommend! Below are the menu items we tried:
Meatballs: lamb, beef, and pork meatballs served with house made pepper sauce and a mixed Bulgarian cheese bake.
Feta Fries: lemon salt and dill seasoned hand cut fries topped with a creamy bechamel sprinkled with Bulgarian feta.
Stuffed Grape Leaves: lamb, beef, pork and rice stuffed into grape leaves served warm with a creamy roasted red pepper and eggplant puree.
Crepes: honey, cinnamon, clove crepes with pistachio crème anglaise and a fig gastrique.
Iced Lavender Lemon Latte: house made lavender syrup with lemon zest, and mint.

We ate lunch here on their opening day. The food, staff and decor are outstanding!! Owner Lora and Chef Trevor have created a very flavorful menu with guaranteed fresh ingredients.
My dining partner had the Chicken Cutlet Trio and I had the Moussaka Bowl, and we tasted samples from each. Absolutely delicious!! The portion sizes were plenty and prices are in par with comparable with other area privately owned restaurants.
The decor is lovely with original artwork and table decorations.
The staff is very friendly and gracious. Our server was very friendly and quick with service. Both the owner Lora and Chef Trevor came by the table to thank us for coming.
There is street parking on State Street (two-way) and on Michigan Street ( currently one way going west, soon to be two-way). Hours are currently Wednesday through Monday from 7 am to 3 pm.
Please enjoy this new wonderful eatery!

Cute little Mediterranean spot on Michigan St. – so happy to see something occupy this space! Stopped by for lunch and had the Feta Fries, Sausage Melt, and Iced Nut n’ Honey Latte. Everything came out super quick and tasted good. The feta fries I would order time and time again. I do wish the fries were a little crispier, but excellent flavor.
The sausage melt had great flavor, but I would prefer more sauce on it or a dip on the side. Super friendly team and well staffed.
They also have a bar with limited beer and wine selections (no liquor yet). Loved seeing Kismetic Beer Co available!
Very limited menu currently and surprisingly high price point for the neighborhood. $18 for a sandwich feels out of touch for the area so this will likely be my only visit. They are currently only open until 3PM so keep in mind this is lunch pricing. Hope to see this spot flourish!

Love this restaurant so much. I’ve tried at least 5-6 dishes over the last few weeks, but after learning that they make their own yogurt in-house I knew I had to try the parfait. And it was so perfect. The warm apricots plus the crunch of the toasted pistachio granola paired so perfectly with the chilled yogurt. Great dish for a light breakfast or lunch!

I came here for the first time on a Friday for brunch with a friend. We tried the bafti wrap and a crepe. The portions were good and we took food to go. The food was good. We got to chat with the owner and chef and our waitress was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the simple design with artwork is inviting. There’s plenty of free parking all around the restaurant. I love what they did with the space and hope they do well in the community. Enjoy! <><
