We frequented the North Topeka Taco Tico fairly frequently until they closed. The first couple of times we visited this location the dining room was closed, just the drive thru was open. I know that at Taco Tico “it’s all about the taste” but I do not like eating this food in the car on my lap but since we live quite a ways away, sacrifices were made. The last 2 times the dining room was open and we got to enjoy our meals again. Hope it stays open.

I’m redoing my review on this Taco Tico location . I went there yesterday and had a very pleasant experience. Everyone seemed in a good mood from customers to the employees. I ordered the Taco Burger combo and added sour cream on my Taco Burger with an additional Taco Burger made the same way and as always they are super delicious and addictive. The combo came with a crispy Taco which I smothered in mild sauce and a Bean Toastada smothered in shredded cheese with lettuce and tomatoes which was also equally delicious. The employee who took my order was friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. The only thing I wish this Taco Tico would address is their somewhat wobbly tables. I love that they have Coke Products,( my mom loves their Cherry Coke Option), and the service is amazing even when they’re busy. The taste of their beef in the Tacos, Taco Burgers and other items can’t be beat. You have to give this place a try when in Topeka, Ks. I hope to make it to a Taco Tuesday there soon.

Taco Tico in my opinion has the best tacos . They are fresh and hot and loaded with great tasting meat and everything else you like on your tacos. Their Guacamole is the best I have had in a very long time . They have great deals on their tacos on Tuesdays and Sundays for 99 cents.
Of course they offer many other items and combinations , haven’t tried other items they offer cause their tacos are so good.
The staff is friendly and accommodating , and the service is great . You don’t have to wait long at all .
Going back always to get those tacos !!!

I eat here a lot cause I work nearby, and while the service has been disappointing at times, wrong order/items, slow service etc.. this time has finally pushed me over the edge.
guys….20 mintue drive thru time during peak 12-1 hours is craaaaaazyyyyy. We gotta do better @ 17th street location :*( . Like if there is more than 3 cars in the drive thru and i don’t have 20 minutes, i just have to go somewhere else.

I double checked google for hours of operation because it’s Sunday and I don’t usually go in Sundays. It says they close at 9:00 PM. So I drive there to get food. The Open sign was lit up in the window. I parked and went to the door and it was locked. Which is fine, I can go somewhere else but I called to let them know the Open sign was on so nobody else stopped to get food, and the person who answered said, “um okay?!” In the rudest tone. Anyways I just want you to update your hours of operations in google and talk to your staff and I’ll remove the review.

i hope their manager knows they close 25 minutes before they’re supposed to shut down. ungodly rude. my dads favorite shop, i always try to bring it to him after i get off BUT they’re always closed at 8: 40

If I could give this place a negative five stars for customer service. I would!
I sat at the intercom for over five minutes before I kept asking if someone was going to assist me. I am a csr and I couldn’t believe these people don’t let the customer know that there will be a wait, welcome in dealing with a customer, nothing! Just dry personalities.
Then I order my food and it’s cold and the cheese tots didn’t even cover the bottom of the tray.
This is not the first time I’ve seen this. Appears to be a regular thing that management should get on top of. It’s absolutely ridiculous!
