We visited Big Fire on Friday, January 30th, and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The Wagyu steak was incredible—perfectly cooked and full of flavor—and the Old Fashion’s were some of the best we’ve had.

What truly made the night exceptional, though, was the outstanding service from our waiter, Josh. From the moment we sat down, he was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Josh took the time to walk us through the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations on both dishes and drinks—and every single suggestion was spot on. His knowledge, attentiveness, and positive energy elevated the entire evening.
Josh provided the kind of service that not only enhances your meal but makes you excited to return. Because of him, we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend Big Fire—and if you can, ask for Josh!

This is my second time to this restaurant and it’s never a miss. As a solo traveler most of the time. I know I’m not a big ticket, but my server was very helpful. Gave me great suggestions. It was very honest with me about things on the menu.

The fondue appetizer never misses, and I told him how much I love the Shishido peppers and he gave me more at no charge.

I ordered the lamb chops, which were perfect.

The atmosphere in the restaurant can’t be beat at Universal CityWalk. The fact that everything is cooked over an open fire makes it even better. The smokiness just sets off this restaurant from everywhere else.

I suggest everyone visit this location. I know some the pricing for the steaks can be intimidating but they are worth the price.

Can’t wait to visit this location again the next time I am in universal Orlando city-walk.

Had a great dinner. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were comfort food worthy. Good vibe. Our waitress was on the ball. We ate early so it wasn’t busy yet. We were well cared for and hope to come back when bk in town.

Located in Universal City Walk Orlando atmosphere is 5 stars. I order the shrimp and grits. They were enjoyable. I also ordered Brussel sprouts for an appetizer. They were under cooked and you could tell they had been sitting out for a while. I also ordered the beef short ribs. The portions were nice but they were 90% fat and gristle very very tough not tasty. The best thing on my plate was the cornbread so unhappy for the price and the wait time. Also the service is very, very slow. You would think after a 40 minute wait to be seated that the servers will be on a point for very attentive instead my server was very slow and forgetful. no plans on returning to this restaurant ever.

We visited for the first time today and we are HOOKED. I think I’ll be having dreams about the Brussel Sprout starter, it was soo good. The steak was cooked perfectly and our server Patrick was great, he was very attentive and helped with providing suggestions on the best things to try. The atmosphere was great, there were only two of us and we were seated upstairs which was lovely. We thought the prices were fair for the quality of food and portion sizes and already plan to come back again tomorrow!

Incredible food. Highly recommended to have a great dinner with family or friend or your half one.
I really enjoyed the Corn Bisque, the best I ever had.
Steak was good but the scallops a total show.
My recommendations.
Corn bisque as entry and scallops for main.
You’re not going to be disappointed with this combination.
I don’t like too much the steak and that the reason for my 4 start. The meat was little hard and they stayed was Wagyu Ribeye. I’ll try many ribeyes better than this one.

The steaks were absolutely amazing—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the Cobb salad fell below expectations and didn’t match the quality of the entrées. Our server was friendly and did a great job, but it was clear they had too many tables. As a result, some items took much longer than they should have. For example, our wine didn’t arrive until we were nearly finished with our meal. Despite the delays, the staff overall was very warm and welcoming. With a bit more attention to pacing and support for the servers, this could easily be an outstanding dining experience.

We decided to try this restaurant located in Universal City Walk versus some of the bigger more popular spots (Hard Rock, Chocolate Emporium). The menu choices and selections were good with many different options. All 3 of us got items that we typically order (steak, salmon, seafood platter). Our waiter was kind and informative. We were seated at 9:00 PM and completed our dinner at 10:30. Be ready to spend extra time when dining here. The salmon was cooked appropriately, the seafood was brought in a cast iron pot so was warm, but the steak (although cooked appropriately) was only slightly warm versus hot. It was a great one time experience but not sure that I would make it a point to return in the future.

Very good steak House.
Reservations are a good idea if you can plan ahead.
We had the filet mignon with french fries. About 50$ each. Very good value. 8oz filet mignon. Good french fries. Good asparagus.
The sourdough bread to start was ok. Not evenly cooked. It tasted like regular white bread and not at all like sourdough. The herbed butter was good. Strange that they served it with orange marmalade. It tasted good but I would not start my meal that way.
Excellent service from Patrick. Professional and friendly.
Big beautiful store.
Small booths for tables of two or four, and many big tables for bigger groups.
Highly recommended.
