They didn’t really have many vegan/ vegetarian items available. I’m vegetarian but don’t eat eggs so I went with the pancakes which I think were the most expensive thing in the menu despite the ingredients being cheap and the cooking uncomplicated. Despite this they still served me cold stale tasting pancakes that I genuinely think were made earlier in the day. I took a couple bites and really had no desire to eat this dish. I sent the pancakes back and the server was very lovely and apologetic. She did take the pancakes off the bill without any dispute but she didn’t seem at all surprised when I said the pancakes tasted like they had been made earlier and weren’t one bit fresh. I definitely would not return or recommend this place to anyone.

Got the Irish breakfast and it was alright, too fancy for my liking. When I came here I was hoping to get a proper full Irish breakfast and not this fancy stuff. The staff were friendly and quick. Only negative is the toast was rock hard and was very very hard to bite into. Nice restaurant but will be going somewhere less fancy in future.

Had the most amazing evening here with a specially curated wine tasting and food pairing for our mama group night out. The food was delicious and the wine selection from pinxtos was excellent…the meat and cheese boards and blue cheese bruschetta were particular highlights. Atmosphere was cozy and welcoming and the value for money was incredible! Will definitely be back for girls night outs!

My friend and I decided to stay local for some wine and cheese yesterday night, and we’re so glad we chose The Lovely Food Co. The place is fantastic, great wines menu, delicious cheese, and top-class desserts. I’ve also been here a few times for coffee and breakfast, and it’s always a wonderful experience. The owner and her husband are so warm and welcoming; they truly make you feel at home. A gem in Drumcondra. Highly recommend!

Flat white pretty good but expensive.
Potatoes unseasoned, basically tasteless, I don’t recommend it at all.
The side salad accompanied with the Roasted Pulled Pork is not very good. The Roasted Pulled Pork was the only OK thing. For 9€ thanks to the quantity, it’s fine.

Staff was really unfriendly but I think they just had a bad day.
Food was okay but it didn’t taste for me. It could be the Irish food in general. I found the price-performance not good.
It’s really tight in the restaurant and you sit really close to the other guest. Also the waiters have not enough space to move.
I have also friends they were really happy and like this place. So make your own experience.

I thought my food portion would be bigger. I ordered the House Favorite Eggs & Potato and was ok portion. The food was delicious but I was expecting more bacon as well. Would come back and I would recommend this place. I could eat something else once the regular portion (at least my dish) was a small-medium size. The food was served fast and the waiter just didn’t check if we need something else like an extra plate or salt and pepper. I had to run behind those, salt and pepper. P.s: came with a friend and two toddlers and the place don’t have space for stroller so we needed to leave outside and grateful wasn’t raining

Loved this place! Hidden gem in Drumcondra, facing the entrance to the bishops palace. Has cosy seating, well decorated, and beautiful food. Also stock a wine list. I was extremely impressed with the pulled pork and apple slaw, which came on a brioche bun. The tea is made with fresh leaves. Highly recommend.
