Everything was amazing. We went to celebrate my sister’s engagement. We had a party of 20, our waiter & his assistant were top tier servers. Very attentive. Our food was very good, I heard no complaints from anyone in our party. Will be back, can’t wait to try more of the food!

The food was AMAZING! We got the chicken biscuits and crème brûlée waffles to share and they perfect together. The pepper jam on the biscuit was amazing and the crème brûlée waffles were warm and creamy with the nice crispy sugar. The service was great as well.

The decor is great but the music was really weird, especially for Sunday brunch. It was like being in a club in 2016. Still had a great time though.

Again we had a fabulous meal with a fabulous server named Justin. The fried chicken is to die for!!! My hubby had Nashville hot and it was crazy good. The fried green tomatoes & biscuits for an appetizer were so delicious. We have been here 4 times. I’m mad at myself for not trying the fried green tomatoes before. So good! The service from hostess, to bar to food service was excellent. The food is consistently good every time. Love what you do!

Love Yardbird at the Vegas location, so we wanted to try this in Dallas. The deviled eggs were tasty, but I felt the eggs were slightly overcooked and rubbery. I preferred the cornbread during this visit. The skillet cornbread was sweet but balanced with the cheese, bacon, and jalapeño. The chicken was perfect! I do feel the waffles were a bit sweeter than I’m used to; could have used more jalapeño and cheddar to balance the sweetness. The honey hot sauce served with The Whole Bird added more heat, though. The spiced watermelon was tasty, as always.

Yardbird was a surprising blend of luxe and relaxed. From the exterior to the interior, the aesthetic is captivating and IG worthy for those who like to capture content. The foods menu is a fun mixture of classic American and Black American cuisine with a twist. I had the shrimp and grits which was arguably the best I’ve had in my adult life. A perfect blend of savory salt and sweet and plated perfectly. The experience could have been heightened if our waiter was more attentive as he forgot to refill my drinks after asking him 2-3 times and he failed to tell us that refills are not free. He also neglected us when we requested our to go containers and check, it might have been passable if it was a busy day but it was Monday afternoon and it was not that busy. Additionally the outdoor patio although beautiful smells really bad, not sure if it’s because of trash nearby or something else. The music outdoors is a little loud compared to inside. I do wish the playlist was more relaxing vs clubish, certainly not a necessary music choice for this kind of venue. Spent roughly $75 total for 2 mocktails, 1 order of deviled eggs, 1 shrimp and grits. I would pass on the deviled eggs in the future as it was very salty and taking away from the overall taste.

I cannot put into enough words on this review how impressed I was with Chef Senecca and the staff at Yardbird in Dallas. We had only been to Yardbird in Vegas so we only had that experience to go by. We were originally met with differences in menu options from Dallas to Vegas. Vegas offers gluten free fries and gluten/dairy free waffles. Dallas does not. However, Chef Senecca saw our struggle and then rolled out the red carpet for my sweet wife. We will forever be loyal customers of Yardbird due to Chef Senecca. So much so, that we came back 3 days later for my daughters birthday. Thanks Chef for everything!

Yard Bird Restaurant – I ended up in the ER after dinner.

What was supposed to be a great night out with my daughter turned into a horrible experience. We decided to try Yard Bird for the first time. We ordered an appetizer and then both ordered the salmon.

When the food came, everything seemed fine at first until I got to the middle of my salmon. The texture felt off, and when I looked down, it was raw in the center. Cold in the middle but cooked on the outside. My daughter checked hers, and it was the same way.

When the waitress came back, I let her know. She admitted it shouldn’t have been raw and took our plates to the kitchen. About 15 minutes later, she returned saying that “next time” we should order our salmon well done. This was our first time there and nowhere on the menu did it say the salmon was served medium or raw.

The issue wasn’t about paying for the food, it was about being served undercooked fish and the lack of accountability. What should have been a nice evening ended with me in the ER. Very disappointing experience and definitely not the level of service or food safety I expected.

The fish and chips were absolutely delicious and cooked very well and the coleslaw was delicious as well. I never expect to get good tarter sauce but to my surprise is was great. We also ordered the fried okra and again it didn’t disappoint. Keep up the good work Chefs and excellent customer service by the staff.

I LOVED THE ATMOSPHERE. THE FOOD AND SETUP IS GREAT. A FRIEND AND I SAT OUTSIDE. THE WAITRESS “MACK” WAS THE BEST PART OF THE NIGHT. I LOVED HER. IM STILL HERE ABOUT TO GRAB DESSERT. I LOVE IT. STOP BY. EAT. SIT IN HER SECTION.
