My 8 year old and myself shared some food for breakfast, it was good but nothing to write home about. For a chain restaurant that is primarily focused on serving breakfast i have no complaints. Our breakfast tasted good, and it was served warm. I would take my family back again for a meal:)

The service here is fantastic. Justin welcomed us at the door and made sure we had a table that was convenient for my late 80’s parents.
Twila was our server and she was super helpful. She made sure all our questions were answered and checked on us off and on to make sure everything was to our liking.
They definitely accommodate those with walkers or wheelchairs and there is plenty of room between tables.
The noise level isn’t too bad considering how busy this place can be for breakfast. We arrived on a late Saturday morning and there were quite a few people there but that didn’t compromise the service or cause any noise disruptions.
The food is decent for a chain restaurant but don’t expect a gourmet meal. The food is good but they don’t cater to the ultra rich so it’s good for the every day person.
I do recommend this place but it’s the amazing service that makes this place stand out.

Crazy Life
We arrived sometime around 1030_12/21/24; of course, it happened to have to be the last Saturday before Christmas, so everyone and their fifth cousin was out. We had shopping to finish and decided to go to this IHOP in olympia. We were actually quite promptly seated_which was a bit of a shock considering the place seemed actually sorta crowded. Unfortunately, we got seated at the one table that actually probably shouldn’t even be there because it’s right in the way from everyone going around to the edge tables. My wife took the chair and was multiple times litterally brushed by by people going by or waiters/waitresses going back and forth to the diners. And my chair was within inches of at least one other if not teo aposong tabled chairs with people sitting in them trying g to enjoy there meals. So we instantly felt quite cramped in the area with people so close to us. When we were seated, we were handed our menues and then left for about I’d say AT LEAST a good 10 minutes if not longer. USUALLY when you go to one of these diners they hand you your menue and offer you at least SOME TYPE of refreshment or tell you of any daily specials or ask if you wanna begin with any appetizers, etc. NOPE!. So when our waitress finally came back we had the opportunity to finally order our meals PLUS finally get drinks (we got just waters) I was comsidering ordering one of there colorful type drinks but because it took so long for her to return to take our order, I lost motivation and simply wanted to pass the time wirh some water; which then was mostly promptly brought out.
We waited about another 20 minutes or so for our food to arrive. I got the “big breakfast burrito; it was delicious and hot; no complaints there. But what did annoy me was we sat there after our stuff was delivered and I even noticed we didn’t have any catsup on the table that I would’ve liked to dab a little on my hash browns. Our waitress NEVER RETURNED ((until)) we were well done eating. And that was just to finally hand us our bill. We were prompt then to make sure we told her we were done, wanted our bill; and a small to_go container for the rest of my wife’s sandwich she hadn’t finished.. they do offer a military discount, so that’s good.
So_ to summarize, the food was very good, but the service and atmosphere left quite a bit to be desired.

Terrible place. You have to wait 50 minutes for your order. There aren’t enough waiters or cooks. The waiters promise every 10 minutes, but nothing happens. Terrible place. Great service, not so great parking area. Our waitress was awesome quick and right to business, food was substandard some of our food was cold already when we got it. Other than that everything was good. Wish location was a little better getting in and out. Not truck friendly. Family parked away from area and walked to restaurant.

The overall quality of IHOP has been slipping but it might reflect the overall health of the company. The food is average if not somewhat below. It’s generally busy but service is always good despite how busy the servers are. It’s clear they try their best. The quality of the food could use some improvement. Just my opinion.

We stopped here while traveling and it was not terribly busy. My husband got the pablano omelet and I had the pancake combo with blueberry pancakes. My breakfast was awesome – I loved it. I tasted my husband’s omelet and, if it had been me who ordered it, I would have sent it back. There were green bell peppers and jalapeños but no sign of pablanos. Don’t get me wrong, it was a good omelette but, just not as advertised.

I went here yesterday with 3 other people and was really disappointed. I was looking forward to their dessert-like breakfasts with some sausage, bacon and eggs. We got the Split Decision, Breakfast Sampler, Chocolate Chocolate Chip pancake combo, and Oreo Waffle combo. EVERYTHING was cold! My daughter asked for her bacon on the side because she’s vegetarian (she gives it to her boyfriend) and they served it on top of the potatoes and eggs! We ended up sending almost everything back to be warmed up and then decided to not eat the Sampler or the Split Decision. I was really worried about food poisoning at this point. They did take 2 of the plates off of the bill, and the waiter handled everything extremely well. He was very kind and seemed compassionate. Turns out, 2 other tables had the same issues. We will not be going back here.

This ihop gives service and care all new meanings, especially the manager Karen. She was absolutely amazing helping me with my order over ther phone and the food was absolutely delicious. I really appreciate the extra effort that Karen gave to me. We will definetly be back!
