The service here is incredibly fast and the atmosphere is lay back. Will not feel rushed. I can only comment on the one night streak quesadilla. Its very greasy. The tortilla is on the soft side. The avocado sauce is different from the real thing. What stand out is the streak meat. It may not cost much but it is really well seasoned. Not overpowered and almost hides into the dish.

I was told by a friend that this place was the best local spot for tacos and it makes me wish I’d tried it sooner. The team who runs this place works together and acts like family and the quality of food and drinks shows this. If you have an issue, bring it up to staff and they will take care of your problems. I got vegetable fajitas I like this location much better than the one on Southside so this is 3rd time I ate at “one night“ at the 2 different locations. the servers are attentive & it was busy for them the food came very quick & the salsa & chips were perfect. Been dining here for over 6 years. Also Been to the Southside and wells road locations as well. Always a great experience. Until yesterday! The cheese in our enchiladas was cold and not melted. The red sauce tasted like can spaghetti sauce. Then last night it hit us! Been sick all night long. Puking and indigestion and terrible pains. Will not be back again.

Be careful with their happy hour now. They just changed it to bar only with zero notice. I would’ve happily sat at the bar instead of at a booth with 4 kids behind my seat constantly kicking the back of my seat, but there were no available seats. Also the taco meat was cold when it arrived to our table. Used to come here all the time, but will be finding a new taco Tuesday spot from now on.

This was our first time visiting, and honestly, the food was subpar at best. I’d describe it as a poor man’s version of Salsa’s. The portion sizes matched the prices, which were cheaper than Salsa’s, but you get what you pay for. Definitely not somewhere I’d go out of my way to eat again.
The service was okay—the young lady kept our drinks filled and checked in on us. The atmosphere gave the impression it could be a fun place to hang out with friends, and the music was fine, no complaints there.
That said, the place was nearly empty. Besides our family of five, there were maybe two or three other couples and a single person at the bar. After trying the food, I can understand why. It had no seasoning at all, which really took away from the whole experience.

One Night Taco Stand in Mandarin is amazing! The food is consistently great and the service is quick. I love their daily specials during the week—it is a great way to try something new. The portions are generous and the atmosphere is always fun. A reliable favorite for a solid meal every time!
