If you want a great burger at a reasonable rate or are looking for lively bar scene look no further! I returned to Jack Brown’s during a fall surf trip to give the restaurant another chance. What we found was a lively bar, a positive staff, great service, and wonderful food. The Wagyu burgers are excellent. This visit was a major improvement from our previous interaction – the host as well as our server were polite and professional. I heavily recommend Jack Brown’s and have updated my review to 4 stars.

Two (three now) time customer here – came back especially for my girlfriend who really enjoyed the Shocker. I ordered the regular cheeseburger both times, the wagyu beef makes it a great burger.
HOWEVER,
On our first visit we experienced a positive atmosphere, had a drink, and overall enjoyed it. On our second visit today the host could not have been more dismissive and unwilling to simply adjust my to go order mere seconds after placing it, in person. I won’t list every problem I had here with one employee, but you can’t go wrong with the food if you’d like a burger.

Came to the outer Banks and found this on Google maps. I tried the Elvis Burger which includes peanut butter. The burger was very good but I don’t think I will get a burger with peanut butter again. The People were great and the place was very clean. Definitely will come back.

Excellent Burger! Some in our party thought it was not quite enough food, teens left hungry. Great beer selection, both draft and cans. Prices were set right, imo. I am excited to return on our next trip.

I stopped here on a whim late for a quick bite. I ordered the cheeseburger and crinkle cut fries. I didn’t have much of an exception, I was just hungry.
Surprisingly, the smash burger was excellent. The bread was fresh, lots of gooey American cheese and I added grilled onions to the evenly cooked patty.
I would definitely go back again and try some of their other offerings.
I’m sure it’s a hit with locals.

First time here. Place is nicely decorated for Halloween. My daughter and I LOVED it! We had Emma who did great! Very sweet and on top of it! I had the Greg Brady burger with Mac n cheese and BBQ chips on it! Best Burger I’ve had in a very long time! Only here till Sunday, but we plan on stopping in again before we leave. We need one in Hickory, NC! Thank you for the experience!

LOVE THIS PLACE! It was the first restaurant we tried since moving to NC from TX, and to say we’re blown away would be an understatement. The menu is simple and awesome. I ordered the Cowboy burger and my husband got the Gonzo burger, then we shared an order of regular Crinkle Cut Fries and Crinkle Cut Fries with Bacon and their house-made cheese sauce. Everything was absolutely delicious! They also have a signature Jack Brown sauce that is to die for. I dipped both my fries and burger in it lol I can’t wait to come back here and try the other burgers and sweet potato fries!! And i really think funnelcake would be a cool addition to the menu and pair nicely with the fried Oreos they already have The staff is awesome, the beachy vibe is fun, and the food is incredible. Come try it! Trust me! You won’t be disappointed! To the staff, thank y’all for such an amazing experience. We can’t wait to bring our family here someday

Super friendly! Burgers were juicy and fresh! Came out quickly and the ambiance was fun and inviting. Got the cobra burger and the Cowboy burger with sweet potato fries and fried Oreos. Food did not disappoint! We went late and still had time to grab a bite and chitchat with the employees. Kindly let us park in there parking lot as the pizza place across the way rudely kicked us off there property. Definitely recommend this place if you are 21 and looking food after fun at the beach, they stay open late!

The food. I got a specialty burger .. I am done with rolls I will say that. Burgers on Donuts…. Insanely good. Sweet with a little onions and just a plain burger. That burger is exceptionally tasty by itself.
Beer assortment is deep… And cold. Easy to recommend as their name, is their game. Great burgers.
