Absolutely terrible. I ordered from here because my work was getting this for lunch. I got the shrimp tempura. Next to absolutely nothing as far as shrimp with boatload of batter which was rock hard. Definitely not worth it and will never order from here again.

This place was incredible. I was suspicious due to the atmosphere, however, the food was delicious, fresh, and for it being $16.99 a person.. yea I’m definitely coming here again.

Walked in around 130-2pm on a Thursday. There was several cars in the parking lot we walked in was greeted and took to our table.
Our server came by, Donovan explained the menu to our party of 5 and how to order what we wanted and took our drink order.
He came back in 5 min or so dropped our drinks by took our order slip and away he went.
It wasn’t no time the soup, salads and appetizers came out..in about 5-10 min later the sushi came out and almost seemed to never stop.
Ordering more once finished or close to being finished wasn’t a problem and was brought out as quick as they could make
it.

Food was excellent.
Service was top notch.
ZERO complaints!!

Stop in and ask for Donovan you won’t be disappointed!

Went for some sushi for lunch. The boys had California rolls and spicy California rolls. I had shrimp hibachi. It was a long wait for service (the waitress was working alone? The hostess came and helped a bit though).
It was also a long wait for food. First they brought out the nuggets and fries for the toddler, then 10 minutes later my food, then about 10 minutes later the boys got their sushi. I waited to eat so I could eat with the boys when they got their food so my shrimp ended up cold.
However, it all tasted very good and the boys liked their sushi. If you’re not in a rush and can just relax I would recommend trying this place.

Updated 3/10/25: we come here a couple of times per year and are never disappointed. We had great service, tables and floor are clean, food is prepared quickly and is of good quality. Crab Rangoon was extra good this visit. Added more pictures.
If you like to eat a lot of sushi, then this place is great for the price (about $26 a person). Lots of choices between individual pieces or rolls. It wasn’t very busy and our waitress was attentive. Menu is difficult to read due to the color of the descriptions against the background. Drinks are fair priced.
Updated Jun 9, 2024 – still a great deal for the price. They’ve added some new rolls including the “mango tango” which we ordered (last image back row). Price has gone up about $2 a person since the last time I ate here (about $28 a person). Service was good and attentive, not too much rice with the pieces. Tables and restaurant look and feel clean.

This was my first and last time at Kings Sushi. I feel completely cheated. Although the food was really good, I knew there was an 18% tip charge, but I never expected to be charged 26% without my consent. I wasn’t given any warning or asked for approval. This kind of practice is unacceptable. Even though I was considering coming back, I won’t. I feel deceived, and I won’t recommend this place to anyone.

Best sushi in the area, and better than a lot of other higher priced sushi restaurants in general as well. Great variety of fish available as nigiri (not limited to): salmon, tuna, mackerel (saba), white tuna (escolar), arctic surf clam, eel, shrimp, kani (imitation crab). They also have some sashimi in salad form.

Fish is always fresh, top notch quality. Rice quality is great. Serving temperature is just right. Not to mention All You Can Eat makes it outstanding value.

Highly recommended. We stop by this place whenever we visit North Myrtle Beach and often multiple times per visit.

First time experience went great! Sometimes with all-you-can-eat restaurants the flavor profile and quality goes down a little, not here! The squid salad was fresh, the tamago as well. All of our rolls had plenty of ingredients and flavor! We did have to look for our waitress a few times but no big deal as she was very nice and provided everything we asked for and needed. 10/10 do recommend!

My children desperately wanted to try “all you can eat sushi”. Against my better judgment I decided to give in. I read the reviews online, saw some pictures and thought…just maybe it will be good. It was all I could do not to walk straight out after walking in – the sewer smell along with all the hand written notes all over the place was extremely off putting. The pictures online do not look like the restaurant. It has a very “trashy, old, dirty, worn out vibe (bathrooms were plan gross). Once we were seated we were then told to move to other side of the restaurant bc of a leak. Again, me and my husband thought…we should just leave but the kids begged to stay. I saw a picture on the menu of what appeared to be appetizing tuna. I asked the server what it was and she told me the blackened tuna (she then said…it looks nothing like that ‍♀️) we ordered it anyways. I will post picture of the picture on the menu and what we were served. The dumplings were absolutely mass produced frozen dumplings that were fried to taste better. My husband enjoyed his dragon roll and we did eat the tuna and Salmon Nigiri…not great but fine. The edamame was probably the best thing but it’s hard to mess that up. I wouldn’t normally leave a review but this place seems like a complete tourist trap and there photos are huge misrepresentation of the what they serve. When in the area we typically eat at place like Joe’s bar and Grill, Blueberry’s, Boardwalk Billy’s, Crave, Platts Seafood, Bin 2004. If your taste and food preferences are along these lines, don’t eat here.
