I got lunch here with friends after visiting the nearby aquarium. Service was excellent and the drinks were always topped off. The food took a little while to come out, but when it did, it was delicious and hot. My wife got the macaroni and cheese bowl and it was enough 2 very large servings. I got the brisket sandwich and really enjoyed it. I would recommend a steak fries. I would come back here and recommend it to friends.

Great restaurant located just off the freeway in Draper. Tastefully decorated, clean, well lit and spacious. Smells delicious.

Service was above excellent. We were seated immediately .. just before the lunch rush. Our server brought drinks immediately and gave us time to chat before she took our order.

Food was made fresh and served hot. Club sandwich is loaded with fresh smoked turkey, tasty bacon and flavorful cheese. Rich bread. Fresh lettuce and tomatoes.

Servings were plentiful. Prices reasonable .. except for the pricey soda pop.

Tana was great .. thank you !!
And we appreciated the manager stopping by our table to ensure we were satisfied.

Coming in feels like home. It’s feels like a restaurant that you’ve been to from 10 years ago or so yet, very clean and well maintained. Kind of like a cabin feel type. The food however is of course fresh and tasted very goood…..
Our server is very accomodating. Lots of parking spaces too.

Jonathan at Goodwood BBQ was fantastic. He was personable, handled all our substitutions easily, and made sure we were well taken care of. You will recognize he because he looks like a cross between Bad Bunny and Lionel Richie
The food was amazing, the sauce was next level, and the portions were huge.
We loved it and will definitely be back.

Jonathan was excellent . Great suggestions . Honey glazed chicken sandwhich was yummy. The sausage was delish and the beer was cold. The burnt ends could of been more burnt however their flavor was good.
The chicken tortilla soup was good 6.5 out of 10

We come to Goodwood often and everytime we do the food is excellent and cooked well. The portions are large enough that we often don’t finish our whole meal.

The staff is always courteous and attentive.

Today the chef recommended the key lime pie and it was very flavorful. We cleaned that plate!

We highly recommend Goodwood!

I had a 3 meat combo SL ribs, brisket. Sausage beans slaw

1 the sausage was tasteless, it was spicy and you could taste meat, but it didn’t have any flavorings in it whatsoever. I was expecting more from a “German style: sausage.
2. Brisket was okay the smoke was very light but it was cooked well, saying that the barbecue sauce they put on it was horrible nasty thick sweet gloopy.

3, St Louis ribs were done well I think they needed more salt and smoke flavoring, but the whole thing was killed with that barbecue sauce. I literally only ate 1.

You shouldn’t use the SAME barbecue sauce on everything!!

The beans were highlight, I thought they were very good. Coleslaw was also well done it was on the unsweet side which I did appreciate, could have used more celery seed and other flavorings.

The day I went the service was slow, they said the computers went down. While I understand that, taking over 35 minutes to get a three-meat barbecue combo out to me is not acceptable in any BBQ place.

The bbq and sides should be ready and out in less that 5 min.

I don’t want to say the service was poor I’ll give them benefit on the computer being down, but I put my credit card down and it did not get taken for 17 minutes. I even told the lady that I was in a hurry and to bring my check out quickly.

Once she took it it actually got lost between the manager server and front of the house for nearly 15 minutes. I literally don’t know how that happens.

While they say we’re having problems with the computer, my credit cards shouldn’t be missing for 15 minutes.

Overall the barbecue sauce was absolutely horrible as you can tell on my reviews. It’s sad they just put it on everything.
I cannot believe you serve that to the people of Salt Lake and call it good.

I would say if you eat here get all the sauces on the side, and bring your own barbecue sauce.

It could be soo much better. You can see in the picture I scraped that nasty barbecue sauce off the brisket.

I’ve had the Chicken-Fried Steak, Idaho Potato Skins, the Brownie Sundae, and Texas Sheet Cake. The potato skins are fantastic and addicting. The chicken-fried steak is good and filling. I’d pass on dessert. Go somewhere else if your sweet tooth is calling to you. It’s been a while since I’ve had the ribs, but I remember being a fan. It’s been hit or miss with the other meat, because sometimes they’re too dry or lack good flavor.

The service has always been good, with various levels of meets or exceeds expectations depending on the server. I really enjoy the location and atmosphere of the restaurant. It’s perfect for business lunches or dinners. It’s not on my list of go-to restaurants when I want to eat out, but I don’t mind when I end up here.

I have so many wonderful memories in this restaurant. The food is so amazing. My favorite is the salmon, but the combination plates are a close second. I love the pulled pork, the turkey is some of the best I’ve ever had, and the Texas sheet cake is the best cake I’ve ever had. My favorite item is Ruth’s mashed sweet potatoes, it has brown sugar and pecans and is better than a lot of desserts. Last time I went they were only served during November and December. They also have a good steak! The staff are so nice, too.
