I have never been to Lexington before, I was traveling for work and came across this amazing spot!
Beautifully decorated, with a giant twinkle light covered tree at the center, open kitchen that you see as your going to your table the sights and smells hit you as soon as you walk in..
The menu is Huge!
I chose a seasonal special the pork cattachori, served over gargonzola and polenta added green bean almondine and buttermilk and chive mashed potatoes… They start you off with a personal load of bread right out of the oven with dipping oil seasoned perfectly… Each bite was better than the last… I took their recommendation on a bottle of Pinot and was glad I did…
The manager was making her rounds and I told her it was my first time there and she said I’ll have your server bring you our dessert menu.. choose whatever you like…it’s on the house!!!
So I picked the chocolate nemesis cake… OMG unbelievable!
So happy I found this gem!
Highly recommend!!

This has been my favorite Lexington restaurant for almost a year, idk why I haven’t made a review. Always consistent, so delicious, and great service. Great drinks too, that actually have enough alcohol in them. Strongly recommend the penne fresco, I crave it all the time and dream about it. And the tiramisu is orgasmic. Must try!!!

The atmosphere is pretty and unique. Service was friendly.
The food was really good but I’m not a fan of the oil served with the bread. I feel serving a ladle of sauce with the bread would be a great way for customers to try the sauce and wouldn’t be costly. Also, the water had a really funky taste.
Overall, I recommend trying this place if you like
Italian food.

The food and employees were really good. I think they should sit people further apart when there isn’t alot of people in there. That’s really the only critique I can think of. Our seating was super close to the people next to us. We could’ve touched them. So other than that the restaurant was so beautiful inside and out. The staff friendly and informative. Food was very good. Oh the bread comes out in a big round piece and is super hot so hard to cut, need to pull it apart. No cutting board to cut it. So I felt odd pulling it apart with our hands. It was for my daughter and I but still was awkward. All over though excellent food.

An absolute gem in the heart of Lexington. Every pasta dish is cooked to perfection, rich with authentic Italian flavors and high-quality ingredients. From the first bite to the last, you can taste the care and craftsmanship behind each plate. The atmosphere completes the experience, giving you that true Italian vibe without leaving Kentucky. A must-visit for pasta lovers.

Nice spot. Nice sized portions and foot was great. Noodles were a bit cold on the chicken parm dish, but other than that everything was good. The rigatoni cream was great!
Meals come with a nice warm loaf of bread and some dipping oil.

The tomato soup was absolutely phenomenal, it had grilled chicken in it which I had never seen in a tomato soup before but it was absolutely fire. Also got chicken Alfredo and it was good, solid classic dish but the soup was better. Bella Notte always has rlly good seasonal dishes that I would recommend checking out.

Great food lots of options, nice staff, good date night spot and always clean too.

Large group of 14 for a birthday party. The tables were set up perfectly, with space between the 3 setups so we could easily get out to go mingle or go to the restroom. Glasses of water were ready for all guests. I thought the server did a great job answering questions, taking orders, bringing more drinks, accommodating the movement of guests around the table, clearing empty dishes and smiling the whole time! Everything went smoothly, the food was good, and the service was great.

This was such a cool place to come for dinner. My friend came here a few months ago with her partner and we decided to come back because she thought I would like it, and she was so correct!

The bread and oil with herbs was delicious and freshly cooked for us. It was so warm and cozy in my stomach. I had a special that they had made. That was a fettuccine noodle with a Parmesan white wine, reduction and beef tips. It was phenomenal. It also had some chili flakes on it, which gave it a nice perfect kick. It was so flavorful which I did not expect. I also really appreciated that even though they aren’t a steakhouse, they asked how I wanted my beef cooked and did a perfect job of cooking it exactly correctly! Even some steak houses don’t get the temperature right, but Bella Notte did!!

We also had some cocktails (appletini and brunette sangria) and wine, and we really enjoyed the drink selection as well as the dessert that we had, which was the Panna Cotta. Everything that we ate was delicious.

Our server was very kind and friendly and super attentive. He was quick to help us and very understanding when we needed a few extra minutes to make a decision versus when we had a quick decision and was helpful to clear our table when there were things we were done with.

The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. It is a rustic decor with wooden toned walls, plant decor, and warm, cozy lighting. It is actually beautiful and a great way to immerse yourself in a lovely environment, especially during autumn and winter. The music selection was also great. Experience was just a great night and we had a beautiful evening and lovely dinner.
