The place is ok if you have nowhere else to go. I love the karaoke but good luck getting to sing. Theres a dj downstairs which is pretty cool. The bouncers are nice. The bartenders, not so much. It was super busy so I was patient but people who got there after me got helped first and a bartender left in the middle of my order to say hi to someone which I thought was a bit rude. Seems like this place is really only for people who know the bartenders.

Moose Bar & Grill in Northeast Minneapolis has quickly become one of my favorite bars in Minneapolis, thanks to our waiter, Alaina (I’m not sure if that’s how her name is spelled). From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely excited to make sure we had a great experience. She knew the menu inside and out, offered spot-on recommendations, and checked in at just the right times without ever hovering. Drinks arrived quickly, food was hot, and every request was handled with a smile. Alaina somehow balanced efficiency with real personality, making us feel like regulars on our very first visit. When the place got busy, she stayed calm, organized, and upbeat, which made the whole night run smoothly. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and cares about customers in a way you don’t see often. Management should know that Alaina is a standout employee who elevates the entire restaurant. Give her a raise, because she’s exactly the kind of server that keeps people coming back again and again on every visit without exception.

Great Northeast dive bar atmosphere with excellent service.
Met us with some friends for wing night and the food did not disappoint. They’ve got plenty of TVs to watch your favorite sports games.
We devoured 8 lbs of wings along with some onion rings and spinach dip.
I’ll definitely be back!

I love the moose. There is so many different things to do karaoke playing darts, having fun with friends. And their chicken wings are absolutely delicious. I had the dry rub and buffalo wings. Great neighborhood bar and restaurant

What can I say about this place that hasn’t already been said countless times before.
The bouncers are unprofessional. The food is mediocre at best. The drinks are weak and have an off taste. Even if you don’t have an issue with the terrible bartender and snowflake owner.
They charge you for water, let that sink in.
This bar doesn’t deserve your business.
I understand why women don’t feel safe here.
You cannot have a conversation. The tables are sticky and grimy. Let’s face it, there are far better options out there. Go to a place that earns your business and appreciates your money.

Been to the Moose a few times, first time for Brunch before Art-a-Whirl. Large helpings, good service, and always interesting goings-on, the Bingo was starting – would’ve been fun to stick around d for that.

This is by far the best bar in Minnesota! The owner is a great man with an excellent, hardworking crew I would call family the food is amazing and I will say that the lasagna is delicious. Karaoke as well.

Extremely disappointing experience. After waiting over 30 minutes just to get tap water, I was told they don’t serve tap water and that I’d have to pay $2 for bottled water – which is fine if that’s their policy, but there’s no excuse for how it was communicated.
When I asked about it, the bartender became hostile and unprofessional, calling me names and being needlessly aggressive. I simply wanted tap water as served kindly elsewhere. The service was incredibly rude and the staff attitude made an already frustrating situation much worse.
I understand busy nights happen, but there’s no justification for treating customers this way. Won’t be returning.
