Cute spot, bright and airy with a delicious menu. The breakfast sausage Samo seemed to be a popular choice, the runny egg yolk was the crown jewel!

I enjoyed the BBLT on sourdough and their Greek inspired pasta salad was so good.

Chilled Prosecco bright mimosas and plenty of seating. It is a nice addition to Wimberley.

Exceptional service and excellent food. The menu is very different than most of the places we go. My wife had the Hill country chaat and loved it. I had the BB LT and love the edition of the Brie to that sandwich. Really cute restaurant and I can’t wait until they get the bar opened

Portion was much larger than i expected! Personally i would have preferred more seasoning in the meatloaf but that’s just me. The lemon blueberry pana cotta literally made me cry bc of how incredible it was. Such a breath taking experience is rare in food. I can see myself making the hour plus journey to Wimberly just for the panna cotta, if i ever have a bad day. Servers were kind and friendly and helpful. Im very full and very happy and i feel my soul is cleansed. ✨️

The server didn’t come up to us for at least 15 minutes and then my sandwich came out like this. The outside is pretty and I enjoyed that, but the care put into the food was nonexistent. I wouldn’t serve dinner at home like this let alone pay $17 for this sandwich at a highly rated restaurant.

I love The Leaning Pear for its welcoming ambience and the charm of the surrounding town. The staff is consistently polite and attentive, and the food, beer, and cocktail selections are outstanding. It’s always an easy choice for me, and I look forward to bringing family and friends back again.

Loved The Leaning Pear! The staff was so welcoming and kind from the moment we walked in- we felt right at home (thanks Morgan). The food was amazing, and ice tea was the best I’ve had. We enjoyed our lunch so much we came back for dinner! Highly recommend for great food, service and atmosphere.

We stopped by this weekend for some early dinner and drinks with friends. Nice place but a bit rowdy outside with lots of unsupervised kids running around. Servers were nice and seemed to be hustling so they were likely understaffed as service was a bit slow.

To drink, the girls had the pink frozen gin drinks and I had the mangonada. Both were pretty delicious but the mangonadas take awhile to to be served so be prepared. I was originally going to get a craft beer but the selection was pretty limited. To eat, we shared the pretzels and the sprouts. The pretzels were decent but the sprouts stood out for me, which is a bit surprising based on my normal preferences. To eat, we shared a 1/2 rueben, 1/2 pimento cheese (its cool they let you do 1/2s), and a small house salad. The salad was fantastic with the pecans and vinaigrette and of the two sandwiches, I’d lean to the pimento cheese.

My friend and I made it promptly as the restaurant was opening for brunch, so crowding and a long wait wasn’t a factor. Our waitress was great and answered our questions clearly. Nice atmosphere. Convenient parking. I’m hoping to visit another time to explore other aspects of the menu.
