I was supposed to meet a lunch party but it didn’t turn out and I ended up eating solo. However I was seated very quickly, even around noon. This was the first time I have been here, and I have to say that I absolutely am in love. The patty melt that I ordered was everything that comfort food should be. The fries that I had with it where are some of the best seasoned steak fries. Fat crispy fries, tender on the inside. Everyone always raves about hop cats crack fries, well these are just as addictive in my book. Great service, my server Ashton was a perfect host. I viewed Westside Social’s Facebook posts for months…today exceeded any expectations that I’ve had by coming here. Thanks again Westside Social I will definitely be a regular customer.

Best cheese burger I have had… possibly ever. Started with nachos and they were great. Chips are good also, but mannyhe burger… wife and daughters food was equally as delicious. Waiter was fun and had amazing timing. Can’t wait to go back when on that side of the state.

I visited on 2/1 for an early lunch and as usual the staff was nice and quick with their service. I’m a Westsider and have been here several times. I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich and Garlic-Parm fries. Food was served quickly and done to perfection. If you’re on this side of town I highly recommend. Thanks Westside Social.

What a nice place!! We tried it because of the high rating on Google and yeah – that’s fully deserved.
We stopped by at 3pm for a late lunch. Tried the BELT (a BLT with egg) which was excellent and the American burger which was excellent as well. Added a cup of chili which I liked very much.
Onion rings are 5/5 without a doubt; they’re among the best I’ve ever had. Fries are 5/5 flavor but 4/5 texture (thick fries never quite have ideal texture)
There’s a substantial upcharge for fries but at least they’re tasty.
The way burger onions are done here is brilliant. Raw (so they have flavor and zip) but they’re red onions shaved thin, so they aren’t overpowering. Very nice.
I’m impressed with the setup (look and feel) of this dining area, and thrilled that that they did what restaurants never seem to do: adequate sound dampening. The entire ceiling with cellulose (not just a few panels here and there) to dampen the loudness. It works great: so, so much quieter than other non-carpeted restaurants.
Even with an o-ring upgrade, fries upgrade, a pint of great beer (Arvon rye) and an added cup of chili our bill was under $40.
Sara is a top-notch server. (I’m a server myself, and so I’m real judgey about waitstaff.) She’s attentive, casual, kind. Mentions add-ons like desserts without feeling pushy whatsoever. That level of service us not something I expect everywhere – least of all during the afternoon slump on a midwinter weekday.
Two suggestions for improvement (because I know GMs read these comments):
First, upcharges should appear as separate lines on the bill so we don’t experience a moment of shock when our items cost much more than the menu said they cost.
Second, I heard several people ask where the restrooms are even in the one hour we were there. Another restroom sign – one that’s visible from the whole dining area – would be a smart improvement for guests and also might spare employees a lot of annoyance.
Keep rockin you guys. We’ll definitely be coming back and we’ll be telling friends about the place as well.

I was in Sunday with a couple friends for brunch. I was very disappointed in their version of biscuits & gravy. The gravy had no sausage and it tasted like an odd sauce. I added bacon, it was over cooked and crumbled on top, not whole on the side which I didn’t expect that. Of course, I didn’t say anything, and that’s on me because I’m always worried about sending my food back. But man, it was not appetizing at all. Just don’t order this! But honesty anything else I have had from here has been great, so I’ll still be back.
We don’t live in the GR area but this is a halfway point for us to meet, and we’ve met up here for dinner & drinks several times, and I’ve never been disappointed in the food. It was just this one time. See photos

What a gem! We stopped into Westside Social not knowing what to expect, and we walked out absolutely impressed!
The vibe is spot on, a perfect balance between a lively sports bar, a fun place to hang out with friends, and a casual family-friendly spot. The decor is warm and modern, with a welcoming “SOCIALIZE” sign that really captures the spirit of the place.
Our waitress was a total standout bubbly, personal, and genuinely engaging with everyone at our table (and others!). She was super attentive and made us feel like regulars, even though it was our first time.
Now, let’s talk food… WOW. The burgers were absolutely phenomenal. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. We were honestly pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. The Steakhouse Burger with sautéed mushrooms and roasted garlic aioli was next-level delicious, and the fries were crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned.
And my drink? The Georgia Lemonade, so refreshing, so flavorful, and dangerously smooth. I loved it so much I had two.
We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for great food, great drinks, and a vibrant, friendly atmosphere, Westside Social delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend!

This spot is hands down one of the best burger joints around. The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection every single time. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, from the toasted buns to the crisp toppings.
The menu has plenty of options, but even the classic cheeseburger feels special here. Pairing it with their fries or a milkshake makes the whole meal a treat worth coming back for.

West side social is a casual eatery/bar has a nice porch open air seating for nice weather. Prices are comparable to other eatery’s. Clean, no frills dining seems like a good place to meet for lunch not too loud. The wait staff is decent.

Excellent food. Had the Smoked Turkey Club and Chips. Yummy. Co-worker wanted ranch dressing. Waved at the waitress, she was looking at me (talking with other waitresses) but oblivious to me. All good, another waitress saw me and got her attention. That was lunch, want to see how good the dinner is there. Drive by and the parking lot is Allways full.

We were leaving GVSU after a football game and needed dinner. So glad we stopped, casual but upscale and interesting food. Everything was delicious and our server was outstanding! Loved this restaurant because there were couples on dates, families with kids, people eating dinner or just having drinks. Oddly, the atmosphere welcomed everyone. They were super busy, but all of the staff were welcoming, upbeat, and helpful. Restaurant was noisy, but cozy and clean. We will definitely return to this restaurant, can’t wait to try other items on the menu!
