We stopped in for lunch on our first day in town for a conference and had such a great experience that we came back later that night for drinks. All three of us ordered fajitas and they were absolutely delicious, huge portions, perfectly seasoned, and served sizzling hot. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming.
The restaurant had just been decorated for Día de los Muertos, and it looked colorful, festive, and full of personality. Later that evening, after most places had closed, we came back for margaritas, and they did not disappoint!
Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area, it’s the perfect mix of great food, great drinks, and great vibes.

I do not recommend this place. When we arrived, the restaurant looked very dirty and unkempt. After being handed the menu, I decided to visit the restroom, and that’s when I realized we would not be eating here. On the way, I saw the kitchen, and it was shocking — full of unsanitary conditions, with staff showing a complete lack of hygiene.
I strongly urge the management to carefully inspect their cleaning standards, kitchen practices, and staff hygiene procedures. Improvements are urgently needed to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for customers. Until then, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Good Mexican food. A very Mexican themed room. Small storefront with booths and tables. It was quite busy at 6pm on Presidents day. Staff was very friendly. The spicy grapefruit and jalapeño margarita was delicious. The shrimp could have been cooked a little less, but was seasoned nicely. Had great company and enjoyed myself very much.

A group of 12 on a bachelorette/bachelor party went to this restaurant. They were very accommodating to our large group and were friendly. The food was amazing (fish tacos) and the bucket drunk was tasty too!!

The food was yummy we did have a bit of a wait but it was a Friday evening so it’s understandable. The top shelf margarita was delicious. I had the shrimp quesadillas from the appetizer menu and it comes with 3 single corn tortillas that are very crispy. Filled with cheese and a couple of shrimp with sour cream on top. We were seated on the top floor and it was very nice with good music.

First time Visiting Marcela’s Cocina Mexicana in Chelan. We spent the day at the water Park, then drove into town for dinner. Found Marcela’s and decided to give it a try. We were greeted immediately and sat promptly. Menus, water, chips and salsa were brought. After a bit, our server arrived for a drink order. When our drinks arrived, we ordered our food. When our food arrived, it was plated well and of sufficient portion sizes. We all enjoyed our selections. Flavors were good, as well as the temperature the food was served. I do have to say, once our food was brought, it was a while before we were able to order another drink and our water glasses were never refilled. We also had to wait a bit for our bill to be brought, after we finished our dinner. Otherwise, the restaurant was inviting and comfortable. The atmosphere was good. As I said, we enjoyed the food. I think this is a good option for Mexican food in Chelan.

What a great restaurant. When we came for dinner the restaurant was almost full. We sat outside and waited for a little bit to order but once we did it was good.
The food was good. We started with chips and salsa. Two kinds of sauces one hot and one semi hot but both tasty. For the main dishes I ordered the ito burrito and it was enormous. Easily a two pounder. Full of beans, rice and pork in a tasty sauce topped with a green sauce and slices of avocado. My taste buds loved it. Every bite was a delight. My wife had the fish tacos with the tortilla soup and liked it. Unfortunately she didn’t eat all of it because she ate before we got there and filled up with chips and salsa. I only ate half of my burrito and took the rest home. Looking forward to eating it later.
For drinks I had a sprite and my wife had champagne. But we noticed that the margaritas were abundant at other tables as well as beer and many other types of drinks.
The atmosphere was good. Really busy as the waitresses moved fast to serve everyone. We had three waitresses coming over to check on us. Even the bus boy was out making sure we were okay.
Needless to say, we highly recommend Marcela’s Cocina Mexicana. Try it. You won’t be disappointed.

I got the chefs burrito with chicken steak and shrimp and didn’t eat half of i my as It was wet tortilla and freezing cold guacamole
$30.00 burrito had me suspicious but waiter insisted its a hot plate here
I’d go to the restaurant again just avoided the burritos personally
To each his own
Salsa and chips are garbage-3star on those

Excellent little Mexican place. Came here while in town for work and wasn’t disappointed in what I found. I was seated quickly even though it was a busy night. Fresh chips and salsa brought very quickly. I had the fajitas which were very good. Plenty of food. The service was mostly very fast and efficient. All of this for a pretty decent price. It’s a smaller space and not very quiet, but it makes up for it in quality of food and service. I would definitely go here again.

Always authentic food with great flavor! One of my husband’s favorite restaurants. The kids loved the fried ice cream and bean and cheese nachos. Margaritas are amazing too!
