Tried Sushi Raku for dinner and it was a great spot when you want quality sushi without the super formal vibe. The fish tasted fresh, the rice wasn’t overly sweet, and the rolls were put together clean (not falling apart). I ordered a mix of nigiri and a couple specialty rolls, and everything came out quickly but still looked carefully made. Service was friendly and checked in at the right times. Prices felt fair for the quality, and I’d come back for an easy sushi night.

Order was taken quickly and food presentation was fantastic. Staff were very friendly, but once we finished eating our table was not cleared. We sat visiting with empty dirty dishes on our table for at least 20 minutes then finally asked for our bill. The table wasn’t cleared until after we left. Would go again but I believe staff needs more training. They weren’t crazy busy, the wait staff were standing by the kitchen visiting. Meals were excellent.

If you are asking yourself where to go for sushi in Saskatoon, this place is sugoi (amazing). Let me tell you, the nigiri pieces are well done and the rice is cooked and packed well. The Dragon Roll was the best roll Ive had with the crispy bits hitting so right. This place competes with some Toronto places and I am so surprised we have a place like this in Saskatoon. One of my friends who goes to michellin places thinks the presentation id on par with this. So take that for what you will.

Best sushi in Saskatoon for certain. I only eat here now when I come to visit. Got take out – perfect. Then went back for dinner in restaurant the next night with a good friend. The cuts of sushi are always perfect and staff are helpful and considerate of allergies. Highly rated and not costly for the value.

Absolutely loved this sushi spot! The fish was incredibly fresh, melts-in-your-mouth type fresh. The rolls were beautifully presented and perfectly balanced in flavor. Service was attentive without being overwhelming, and the ambiance was cozy yet modern. Definitely coming back for more

My partner & I travel a fair amount, always trying new sushi places, but few have held a flame to the sushi & ramen from Sushi Raku (and that’s GLOBALLY). To have such a treasure in Saskatoon is something special .
We live in the neighbourhood, and have dined here countless times — so many times, in fact, that it’s almost criminal that it has taken me THIS long to give these folks the big 5 stars that they deserve.
So the question isn’t, “What have you tried that you’ve liked at Sushi Raku?” The true question is, “What haven’t I tried?!”
This is what keeps us coming back over and over again. Whenever we want to go for a FAST, great, sit down meal (and can dine for under $45-$50 for two people), we choose here 9/10 times.
Now – what ARE the repeat offenders that we get?:
– Spicy Garlic Edamame
– Tako-Yaki
– Raku Orange
– Salmon Sashimi
– Avocado & Cucumber Roll
– Spicy Salmon Roll ️
– Rainbow Roll
– Las Vegas Roll
– Raku Signature Roll (be warned – she’s thick)
– Night Hunter Roll
– SK Roll
– Salmon Oshi
And our NEWEST favourite is their Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen . We used to think another establishment had the best ramen in Saskatoon — we were wrong. This is the best in the city hands down.
The staff here is amazing. Every time you walk in, the Sushi Chefs greet you, and always say goodbye when you leave.
Coming here feels like coming home. Good food. Good people. Great time. .
But takeout is also equally as good. So there are no excuses not to give this place a try.
