Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

First time having a triple meat Whataburger. Fantastic burger indeed! Burger was seasoned well (reminded me of the Master Burger patties in CA) Fries were OK, not bad. The workers that brought out our food was nice and friendly! I can dig this burger if it was in MN!

We are from Utah so we had to check out the place everyone talks about from the south. And we have to say it was a little hyped up. It was still fun for us and we enjoyed it but not what we expected.
We did enjoy the seasonal flavors. The boba drink and the Dr Pepper shake were a hit with my kids. I also liked that the menu wasn’t huge I like less options to pick from.
It was defiantly a good pit stop place for when we need a quick bite.

Whataburger food is always good but I’m writing this review because of the exceptional service provided by the management and team. If I could give them more stars, I would. My nephew had a small birthday party at this location and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. One team member even gave my nephew a gift, and the manager gave us free kid’s meals coupons! They’re an awesome team here!

Extremely Disappointed with Whataburger Experience
I found a curly hair in my food at Whataburger — something especially alarming since I have straight hair, so it was definitely not mine. When I brought it to the manager’s attention, she showed zero concern. No apology, no effort to make it right. I had to ask for a refund, and instead of handling it professionally, she sent someone else to hand me the money while she avoided the situation completely. She didn’t even offer to remake the food or remove the contaminated meal.
Absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. I expect better food safety and basic courtesy from a place like Whataburger.

There staff is very attentive and friendly. I came in on June 20th 2025 at 5:38 pm. We ordered inside and a very nice gentleman named Joseph took our order. He was clearly excellent at his job. His upsale skills had me convinced to buy everything. This is one of the best Whataburger experiences I’ve had in years. I hope to be back soon.

My social group meets M-F at 730am in a restaurant in the Forum for coffee & pastries. This morning being New Years our regular location would not open until 0900am. So we decided to go to Whataburger. I have eaten here many times over last few years & and always satisfied with menu items purchased. Grounds & facilities have always been sparkling clean. Greeted by counter person as we entered restaurant.
Surprised when Whataburger staff offered us free coffee, either regular or decaf. Coffee was of high quality & good. A number of times during our visit, a staff member came by our table wishing us a Happy New Year & inquired as to satisfaction with their service & consumables

I literally went in with cravings of a burger i just ask to take out the onions and the mustard and sub for mayo BUT PLAIN BURGER !!!! I didn’t want a plain burger!!!!!!! Like where In my words said plain NEVERRRRR ONCEEEE!!! AND I DROVE ALL THST WAY TO GET A BURGER WITHOUT CHECKING IT AND IM ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTED BECUZ U THINK U CAN TRUST THESE EMPLOYEES WITH SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS AMD THEY DO THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE AND ITS ALWAYS THE YOUNG EMPLOYEES NO OFFENSE BUT PLEASE TRAIN THOSE PPL BECAUSE WHEN A CX SAYS NO ONIONS NO MUSTARD THAT MEANS LEAVE THE TOMATOES THE PICKLES THE LETTUCE AND ADD THE MAYO !!!! The was one of the best Whataburger experiences we’ve had. It was a wonderful experience. My food was hot, the workers were warm and friendly, and the place was super clean. The food came out very fast and were checked on throughout our meal as well. Thank you to the wonderful staff and the great experience!

What can I say. Patty Melt! The best! I have never tried anything else. I love whataburger eat here every time I come to Texas. I have yet to deviate from my normal order, in fact I intend to never deviate. Always delicious always fantastic.
