We met friends here for lunch on a fall Sunday. First of all, the restaurant has a great atmosphere with warm-toned logs and wood throughout. The bar is huge and central in the main hall. There was a constant buzz of background noise but we could still hear each other to talk.
Our friends had already been seated and ordered cheese curds. The curd weren’t piping hot as we began to partake but they were still good.
I ordered a Blake’s cider while my husband had beer; he also had a coffee at the end of the meal. The tap list has a lot of variety.
Our server, Dominic, was fantastic. We were never left lacking.
I had the St. Croix chicken salad while my husband had a burger. My friends ordered a chicken pasta dish and pot roast. All of the dishes included a generous amount of food, and we all loved it.
Payment was handled with a hand scanner right at the table, so when we were ready to go, we were able to do so right away.
This was a great lunch and a perfect venue for catching up with folks. I’d be glad to come here again!

WOW! Was the word replaying in my head while having my meal here at Smilin’ Moose. I had only great things to say about this place! I ordered the southwest burger with extra lettuce and sweet potato fries. Plus the sweet potato and chorizo skillet. It was the best meal I’d had for a while! So many complimenting flavors. It was so fast to get to the table as well! I was truly blown away. It was definitely worth the trip! Thank you, Smilin’ Moose!

Greasy burger, but good waffle appetizer! Except the waffle is a frozen, mini waffle, so that was still cold.
Tater tots were ok. I asked for a hot lemon water and it was brought out to me in a pop cup and smelled like a wet rag.
Loud, cluttered with dusty decor, and packed so tight it was hard to walk through.
Won’t go back.

Had the elote skillet which I enjoyed. I loved the hot honey waffles the most though My jalapeno burger was also really good. That moose sauce was fire, so I would recomend that with the fries

We have come several times with the kids for dinner as well as date nights on the patio in the summer. Love the laid back, cabin feel of the space. The food all has been fantastic, whether it’s soups and salads, chicken entres, burgers or wraps. We have not had a disappointing meal. Servers we have had in the past have all been friendly and attentive.

My boyfriend got the lumber jack burger. 5 stars all around. He expecially loved the seasoned sour cream. That will be a staple in our household now. I had gotten the buffalo wings. They were amazing. Staff were incredible and very friendly and time efficient. We are definitely coming back!

Really nice place large for bigger groups/gatherings if needed. Will be nice to visit in the warm weather they have a patio and outdoor seating and upper deck with a view of the water. The food was good and the service was friendly and great. Had a “homey” cabin feel and I’m sure people gather to watch games on the tvs
