Amazing bread fresh out the oven. Very solid food. Service kind of sucked, had no water the whole time and she didn’t know what I was asking for when I said 7ommous (had to say hummus for her to understand) but overall great food and not too badly priced.

I’ve reviewed restaurants around the world, and this one surprised me. The warm bread with garlic spread was mouth-watering! AND THEY BROUGHT MORE! The small hummus we ordered on the side was not small at all and some of the best hummus I’ve had. Rivals what I had in the Middle East. Finally, the feast for two was wonderful and more than we could eat. To my surprise, we were given take-home containers that held enough food for another meal. When we got into the car all I could do was to turn to my wife with a big smile and say, WOW! Do yourself a favor and enjoy a meal here. You deserve it, and they deserve the support.

This post makes me so sad because I used to love dining in here. My husband and I walked in at 6:40pm on a Friday evening with another couple waiting and was told they were cleaning off a couple of tables(great, no problem). Another couple walked in right behind us. Hostess came and asked her was
first and my husband pointed out the couple that walked in right before us. About 5 minutes later, a young man walks out and says party of 2? And the couple that walked in behind us, just takes the table knowing damn well it was ours. So now we wait another 5 minutes for yet another table to be cleaned(perhaps they should take names to stop this). We are seated and our very kind and polite waitress comes and takes our order. Our drinks and soup comes out immediately, then we wait. After 45 minutes, we had to stop our waitress and ask for our bill because we had to go pick up our kids. I’m sorry but I hour and 45 min should be plenty of time for a beef schwarma and a vegetarian platter. With the amount of Mediterranean restaurants popping up, I can honestly say, we won’t be back. But our waitress was wonderful and felt awful and kept apologizing for the kitchen.

I’ve had carry out, but haven’t dined in for quite some time. We had lunch with friends today, and it was perfect! It wasn’t noisy, so we were able to enjoy our visit.
Lynn was our server and she was above and beyond awesome! We all enjoyed our meals and had leftovers. Kafta, shawarma, grape leaves, hummus, salad were all delicious.

Excellent dinner at a great price. The portions are very generous and the service was 5 star. Alina was a fabulous waitress and she did a great job with our order..will be back!

Had the chicken Shawarma dinner. Lots of chicken and rice. Included a salad or a soup. I tried the chicken vegetable which was tomato based and very tasty. They also includes the house made fresh bread and garlic sauce. Everything was very good. Will be going back.

Tucked away in lakeside mall circle is this hidden gem <3 The food is always fresh and tasty. The bread and garlic sauce is the best I've ever had!! Also Lynn is one incredible server. Lebanese to not skip over!!! Enjoy

I’ve ordered from La Saj Sterling Heights so many times and never had an experience like this. Everything was absolutely terrible.
The fries were rock hard — it looked like the oil was way too hot or they were left in for way too long. Completely inedible. The lentil soup was the worst I’ve ever had. Overwhelming lemon flavor and some weird rice in it that totally ruined the soup.
The beef shawarma was the most disappointing part. It was extremely chewy, impossible to swallow, and I literally had to throw it out. I’ve never had shawarma like that before.
I honestly don’t know what happened, but the quality this time was awful across the board. After ordering here so many times, this was a huge letdown. Definitely not the same place I used to enjoy.
