I had high hopes for this place, but was disappointed like every place else in Flagstaff. I had the pulled pork on a roll. it was a hot dog bun, which fell apart, the pork was so sweet it was inedible.
For $14 just for the sandwich, you think it would be good , they didn’t even give you fries with it, they charge you to an extra $3. I refused to pay for the disgusting sandwich.
$21.00 for that inedible food.

Great comfort food! Giant portions if you want to consider splitting something. Power went out while we were eating, so we were urged to hurry and leave, but in a nice way. Service was just okay. Server never checked on us after dropping off food. Power outage didn’t allow us for a refill or credit card pay and Manager didn’t offer a discount or try to make it right in any way. Lots of interaction with each other and none with the customers. Only reason I gave it 4 stars. Good otherwise!

We’re from out of town and stopped for breakfast on a whim. We were absolutely delighted with the coffee, food, and service! The biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were MASSIVE and good but more roll like then biscuit like. Everything we had was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy. I do wish they had real half and half instead of Coffee Mate but it wasn’t a big deal. Definitely recommend?

Steak was rancid and hash browns were tasteless. Toast was stale and chewy. Eggs were ok but got shorted 1. To add insult I got charged 5 dollar tax. 31 bucks and I could only eat the eggs.

After a long day at work, we expected a home cooked dinner at The place. We ate dinner at Mike and Rhonda’s on the east side of Flagstaff. The waitress was exceptionally nice and courteous. We ordered hot tea, cold water with lemon, fried chicken with fries and mashed potatoes with vegetables. We chose the soup, but it was not soup, it was sphaghetti sauce. The fried chicken was hard, like it was cooked before and reheated in the fryer to have an overfried chicken. The lemons were dry and brown. The french fries were hard and over fried. We were not satisfied with our dinner. After we told the manager, Alexis, of our unhappy dinner, she offered us a 10% discount. Alexis apologized, said she gets evening complaints about the dinner food, and the cook has not been replaced. I would not recommend eating dinner at this restaurant. We figured their breakfast was good and that their dinner would be excellent, too.

I’m not sure about the biscuits. They aren’t southern style but more of a slightly underbaked soft bun. Not bad though. The other guests seemed to relish them.

Used to come here often, then along the past few months things changed alot. Food is usually cold by the time we receive our items. Service is very bad, tried waiting on staff to come by for refills. But, none. They are usually talking or on their phones. Dining area is always cold inside. Yeah, I recommend going to the west side restaurant. Don’t recommend this east side one.

The staff is almost always attentive, depends on time of the day. Beautiful goth young woman is the best, the ranch is the best I’ve ever had. Lumberjack breakfast, gravy is perfect. I get the club . Lil sis gets the beef with the rue. 20 years, never disappointed
