Wow! We’ve lived here 8 years and had NEVER gone to Carmelita’s. Whaaaaaat? I’m a little ashamed. My ground beef Cheese Enchiladas were amazeballs, and the choice of sides was delightful! I had rice and the Charro beans. I’ll be going back! PS- salsa was soooo good!

There’s so much chips and salsa as soon as you sit down. I ordered a chicken and shrimp fajita. The rice was very dry and didn’t taste fresh. The onions were not cook and the peppers tasted bitter and spoiled. I didn’t enjoy my first visit meal there. My companion, enjoyed his meal and Carmelita’s is one of his favorite places to eat. However, the staff was awesome. If I’m ever in the area again I would give them another try and try something else.

We had a great time at Carmelitas! The portions and flavor of the food was exceptional. Not sure what the bad reviews are for but we were seated quickly and served fast too. The servers were responsive and answered the questions we had. Again, the portions are humongous and the taste is delicious. The nachos were off the hook as well.

We really enjoyed eating here. The atmosphere was very family, cozy, and friendly, they gave generous portions for each of our meals, the chips were quite good too. Service was kind, patient and friendly. All four us enjoyed our meals. They have a decent variety of meals and appetizers, as well as drinks. It’s was quite nice eating here, definitely somewhere I would like to go back to with a large group of friends for lunch or dinner.

A fun place with cute decor and great food! The Mexican Pizza is so delicious, and bigger than I thought! The vegetarian combo was filled with all kinds of fun things and the steak that came with the steak fajitas was nice large meat without much fat. It also was not greasy (asked for light oil). The tamales were very good! I normally don’t like tamales but these were an exception – they don’t come with a dipping sauce though. The service was pretty good, friendly and fairly quick. The cheesecake burrito was sooo good! It was a nice experience and I can’t wait to go back!

We’ve passed by so many times, and today we were able to stop in. The staff were ABSOLUTELY excellent!!! So VERY kind and helpful. While we were not a fan of the food (and that’s not because it was bad), it’s just not what we expect when we think Mexican food. The place was PACKED before we left, so there are a LOT of people who love this place!!! You should try this place out! The staff is absolutely amazing. Again, they were SUPER nice and SO helpful!!!
