Didn’t have the food after walking in to use the bathroom….. If I could take a picture of what it smelled like, I don’t think you would either.. hate is a strong word so 2 stars because I just wouldn’t recommend

Taste and temperature of meal was good. The wait at drive thru was exceptionally long. So much so, if I hadn’t already paid & received the drink I would have left. There was no one ahead of me in line & my order was not large or complicated. This location would not be my 1st choice if I was press for time, but I would return. Team member was very pleasant!

This Sonic used to be a go‑to brand for us, but the Waldorf location has consistently been a disappointment over the last three years. The food is okay – not the best Sonic, but not the worst – but this store completely fails to deliver the classic Sonic drive‑in experience, and it’s brought our overall opinion of the brand down.

It’s also important to note that this location operates only as a drive‑through now. There are no carhops, the traditional drive‑in stalls are closed, and there’s no walk‑up option, indoor ordering, or usable patio seating, so all of the things that make Sonic feel unique are basically gone.

On top of that, our most recent mobile order took about 15 minutes longer than the time listed in the app, which completely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead and just adds to the frustration with this store.

This restaurant is one of the worst Sonic Drive thru is have been too. The food is always subpar, I ordered a Coke + Cherry and they gave me a cherry flavored soda water, Sonic is supposed to be known for its speedy service and car hops, yet they refuse to do car hop service and it can take 15+ mins to get your food.

Won’t be going back.

The burger wasn’t amazing, but it wasn’t bad. The shake however, was so delicious! The people who helped us were great, and it didn’t take forever to go through the drive through even though there were a lot of cars. I’ll definitely be back for another milkshake, they are so delicious!

The Sonic Store in Capital Heights MD operating hours states that they closed at 11 pm today on a Sunday. But, for some reason they closed around 7 pm today on Sunday. It’s a good thing there’s a Sonic store in Waldorf MD that was open for business. Unfortunately this Sonic store in Waldorf MD was a little slow and out of hotdogs, but they were able to complete the rest of our orders. This store staff wasn’t attentive and they didn’t communicate to the customer about the long wait time to receive their order. But, our food was tasty.

Does it even matter how the food is when you have such gorgeous, polite and well groomed staff? Come here just to see how gorgeous Dev is. She should probably be on a billboard somewhere, but here we are. It does matter a bit that they serve you the correct items, though right? That being said I am a bit of a diva and asked for a complete overhaul of a menu item. Dev did everything correctly, notating everything I asked for on my receipt, but when I received my order it was missing half of the toppings! I was slightly disappointed and was just going to eat it anyway, when my husband suggested that I just go speak to them about it. I took his advise and spoke with another woman in a purple shirt, who was now at the counter. She apologized and quickly offered to make it right. I suggested that she could just bring out the missing toppings and I could throw them on my sandwich myself. Not a minute passed before I was brought out the toppings. I added them to my sandwich and it was everything I hoped for. “To err is human”, right? My husband, who was not a diva, received a perfectly crafted burger the first time. Moral of the story is take chances, have adventures and you might just get exactly what you’re looking for!

I went through the drive thru around 8pm and there were no other customers. I was greeted and asked to wait for a moment. After about 5 minutes, I said hello and another person took my order. When I got to the window I waited another 10 minutes for 2 drinks, an order of tots and a burger. There were 3 people inside who were so busy laughing at something on their phones to even come to the window. Overall, a super frustrating experience.

Love sonic for there drink options; but the company really needs to work on its food… sigh. Every time I visit one of its restaurants my order is wrong and/or looks like it came from the bottom of the barrel; and this time it was burnt! The food is poor quality and presentation should at least somewhat resemble the menu picture. Can’t believe 2 meals cost 25$… should’ve went to chick fil a would’ve been cheaper for the same order and better quality.
