Ordered grilled stuffed catfish and grilled salmon with Caesar salad. The food was good. Was expecting a better twice baked potato based on pictures from reviews and price. This one was small and seemed like from the frozen food section instead of made from scratch. Service was excellent. Didn’t see char grilled oysters on the lunch menu.

Our server was Derone And he went above and beyond for us when we went A few days ago. He was very cordial very friendly. Always check to see if we needed anything.
Very refreshing, you need more people like him! We had the all you can eat shrimp and they were fabulous! It seems like they are under new management because the atmosphere was totally different than it was a few years ago. Very pleasantly surprised.

I had a wonderful experience dining here for lunch. My server/bartender Madi tended to my every needs without me having to ask. She asked all the right questions as if she was reading my mind; like wanting to change my side for my food order or if I wanted my cola for the road. Visiting from out of town, we decided to go after hearing about it from friends. It was kind of busy so we had to wait to be seated. After being seated, our server came and took our drink order. A short while later she back and took our food order. It took awhile for us to receive our food. I was excited to try the food, but very disappointed when I got it. It wasn’t even hot, and barely warm. The server never came back to check to see if we were ok, or needed anything else. When she finally came back she saw that the food was barely touched. She never asked if we wanted her to do anything or how she could fix it. We had children with us and they were getting restless so we just asked for the check and left. After all the good things I had heard I was really disappointed. Maybe we caught them on a bad night, I don’t know.

I tried Don’s for the first time last night. I sat at the bar and watched the 2nd round of the NFL draft. The atmosphere was relaxed and the bartenders were AWESOME (sorry, I didn’t get their names). I absolutely loved the crawfish bisque!! I only got a small cup, however I will definitely get a bowl next time! The crawfish quesadillas were pretty good too.

Actually got stood up for a date here, but decided to dine anyways. Middle of the afternoon on a Monday. Completely dead, maybe 3-4 tables. Ordered the Jacked up shrimp and seafood platter, with 2 draft beers. Total $70. The Jacked up shrimp was delicious and far more food than I anticipated. Bartender brought me some bread. Saying it’s a must have with the dish, she wasn’t wrong. Was a great appetizer/small meal. Buttery, cheesy, spicy, yummy. The platter was kinda meh. The shrimp, stuffed shrimp, hush puppies and fries were quite good. The catfish was a bit wet/mushy and a little fishy. Coleslaw was quite sweet for how I like it. And the ettouffe just wasn’t good.
Service was very friendly and fun to chat up with. The only knock was when Dog the bounty hunter showed up, I kinda got forgotten about a couple times with an empty glass. I understand a celebrity of sorts will get some extra attention but it wasn’t busy at all to be able to check back in with me a little sooner.
Cool part was as I’m walking out Dog and Francie both got up to catch me on the way out asking if they could get a pic with my bike. Ironically the bikes model name is MADDOG. Which is kinda perfect for the scenario.
Overall good experience, satisfying food and I like the vibe of the place overall. I’ll be back to try other things on the menu

I visited this restaurant and they hit every single check box of a superior restaurant. The food was great and perfectly timed, right from the start all the staff were cool and quite knowledgeable. One bartender (Jansen) did standout though because she is a absolute Rock Star!
