Old school counter lunch joint. It was fine. The coffee wasn’t the best but they were getting ready to close in about an hour or so I guess they weren’t ready to make another pot. Shoestring fries we’re okay and The cheesesteak was I think what you would expect for a $7 cheesesteak. For the price, it was good. If you’re looking for something quick and cheap to eat, this is the place for you. If you want something a little nicer, it probably isn’t. I would definitely go there again though.

This place is awesome and feels like you’re stepping back in time. There is custom wood booths and little vintage details. I will day the good is not the prettiest but the taste was amazing. Especially the chili cheeseburger. I could eat like 5 of them. The employees were very friendly as well. The prices were really the cheapest you can get.

If like to call this place either a needle in a haystack or a hole in the wall find. Great service, food was good. Their chili sauce has a unique taste, seasoned but not spicy, more you get a zing but you can still enjoy the taste. I got the Texas Cheeseburger and a couple of chili cheese dogs. Prices are fair and affordable. Recommend everyone to try this place, big thumbs up!

Heard great things about this location so we decided to try it today for lunch. I was definitely underwhelmed by their lunch menu selection. It basically offered hot dogs and hamburgers, with a few exceptions. So, I ordered one cheese burger with fries. The food was pretty much what I expected. Prices were pretty high for the quantity/quality of food. Think we’ll try it again for breakfast and see if it’s a different experience.

Did a take out today, the booths are not big guy friendly. But I will say walking in I was greeted in a very pleasant manner. Now they slice the dogs, I thought that was rare at first however this was the 3rd place I’ve been to where they do this, not a deal breaker. I got 3 chili cheese mustard and onion dogs. Their Texas sauce had a very unique flavor, now I couldn’t really taste any kind of spice in the sauce but that could have been hidden by the other condiments. Now here’s something I didn’t know, if you want a dog with relish or kraut it’s not going to happen here, they don’t have it. Until next review. Be blessed and stay safe.

Awesome little spot. Tremendous breakfast and lunch food. Burger, chilli dogs, this is the place to get them! Cost conscious as well. You won’t be disappointed.

Good and the ladies working were awesome! Only thing I wish there was, was side sauce options. Like bbq, ranch, honey mustard. But it’s awesome regardless!

First visit here, great vintage lunch counter. We enjoyed several traditional hot dogs and cheese fries. The cheese fries had microwaved American cheese. The hot dogs topped the meat sauce were hot and tasty. $2.50 a hot dog is a great inexpensive lunch.

An affordable and quality dining experience. It really has an “old time” feel; the place is small and vintage. The food is pretty decent and the prices are excellent, though the portion sizes are equitable to the price. Don’t expect gourmet meals or restaurant-sized portions; if you order a $4 Texas burger at a small business, you’re going to get a $4 Texas burger at a small business. Don’t expect more, but you won’t be served anything less.
The location itself is splendid; Main Street in Pittston is probably the highest quality pedestrian space in the Wyoming Valley. Safe, walkable, accessible, and friendly to people with disabilities.
Admittedly, Majestic does have some room for improvement; the small booths aren’t the most comfortable to sit in, and I imagine for those in wheelchairs the seating could be difficult (though I recognize this is a construction issue and hardly the fault of the business itself). I also would have preferred some higher-quality paper plates, as the grease or moisture from some items do bleed through it. The dishes could use some more spice and chili cheese fries also use a slice of melted cheese instead of a cheese sauce, which is offputting.
All in all, I look forward to dining here again soon.
