My family and I have been going to BNK Thai & Sushi in Elmhurst for years, and it remains one of our absolute favorites. This cozy little spot truly packs a mighty punch. It’s family-owned and operated, and you can genuinely feel the care and pride they put into both the restaurant and the food.
Our kids love the Pad Si Ewe, I’m a big fan of the Pad Thai, and we consistently order the Unagi Lover Maki and Deluxe Sweet Potato Maki — both are outstanding. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.
Whether we’re dining in or grabbing carryout, it’s always a treat. The service is friendly and welcoming, and they let their food shine. Elmhurst is lucky to have this gem!

Really good Thai food here! Much more authentic than most Thai restaurants! They are also accommodating with your meal and you can order “off menu”. Prices are pretty much similar to other Thai restaurants around Chicagoland. Portions are decent, you may not finish what you are served at your table, but take it home! Honestly this is the best Thai food around this area. They also have Japanese food but we were there for Thai!

Great food and fantastic service. We were way over the closing time and they let us stay no problem and continued to service us. Great staff here and nice people.

The service is great. Food is average. This seems to be a family owned business and is a nice tidy place. One restroom was out of order when we were there.

After giving the hostess our name and showed her the DoorDash confirmation with our name on it she gave us the wrong order. We didn’t realize it was wrong until we got home and OPENED the food. We called the restaurant and she asked us to bring the food back and then took the OPENED bag with the wrong order and put OPENED bag of food BACK on the food pickup shelf and gave us our correct order. Almost every restaurant will tell you to keep the wrong food (because now that it is opened it is a safety hazard to give it to someone else), offer you the correct food, AND offer something like a discount or free desert for the inconvenience. We were told to drive back and give them the wrong order back and then we can get our food. By the time we got our food it was cold and we weren’t given the the plastic silverware that we asked for. I’m very disappointed in the service and worried that she gave the other people the opened food.

Best Thai food I’ve had in many years.. reminds me of the authentic Thai food I had when we were visiting Bangkok years ago. I could eat here everyday!! So fresh and delicious!! Prices are incredibly reasonable and staff is above and beyond friendly.

Overall good experience. The food was a good and the service was great. Took half a star off for the tempura, felt like it had more breading an necessary. Also took another half star for the drunken noodles felt like the flavor was just not there for some bites. Definitely try the thai iced coffee.

Service was great. Atmosphere ok. Small venue. What I rate heavily on is the food and price. Probably the worst Pad Thai I ever have. Sauce was very sweet. Devoid of vegetables. Noodles were over cooked. Actually way over cooked. The dish had a WOPPING 4-5 tiny pieces of chicken in it. Ive had their sushi before and it was laughable. Very expensive, rice was gummy and had no seasoning. The rolls were tiny and deformed.
This is BY FAR the worst Asian restaurant in the Chicago burbs.
