Really nice hidden gem here. Delicious food, big portions, very reasonable prices. Clean place, has tvs with sport, but can still comfortably have a conversations with your party. Friendly attentive staff, definitely will be back and back again.

Sadly I went to Sally O’Briens last night to pick up the Shepard pie I called into to order. Upon arriving I was given the bill which was $18.75.
I gave the female employee $40 and asked her for change for the $20 bill. She placed the change on the counter and walked off to get my food. As soon as she walked away. I noticed she had shorted me $9 on my change, so about 5 minutes later when she came back with the food , I told her right away she had shorted me by $10, at that time not noticing that really i was only $9 short. She immediately became defensive and said that when she had given me the change, she had given me a $10 bill as part of the change, which was not true. I had even looked on the ground to see if maybe it had fallen which it had not. She then acted like she counted her drawer, which took her less than 2 min said the drawer was correct. She then went and got the owner who came over and tried to defend his worker which i explained to him that i was not given the right change, so he said give him a min, he would go check his camera which took him about 7-8 min, and he came back again and said he saw on the top of the change i was given the said $10 bill. I then asked him to show me that on camera because if he was telling me the truth he must have a ghost because I was telling the truth and offered to have him look thru my pocketbook, which he said he didn’t want to. I had no pockets in my pants that I could have put the $10 in. I had walked in with $65, gave the worker, $40, for which she gave me back 12.25,instead of $21.25 After asking for him to show me on camera that there was $10 placed on the counter with the change, he didn’t really say anything , but walked away and a minute later the woman employee came back with an attitude and threw $10 on the counter at me and she walked off. While initially I intended on leaving her a tip, with that attitude , i just picked up the change , leaving the extra $1 on the counter and left. What I believe is she thought she grabbed a $10 in change when she really grabbed a $1 bill by mistake. I have never had such an experience in any restaurant I’ve ever gone in and will never go back there again.

Sally O’Briens is a hidden gem in the Cocoa area. It’s a bar, with the exception of great food. Whether you drink or not, it’s easy to see that the quality and taste is there. Tonight I chose a fish and chips platter. I was not disappointed. Perfectly cooked. I also added mozzarella sticks. Again, cooked just right. The bar staff was amazing and attentive. Additionally you can play pool or darts. It’s not a large place or easy to find, but it’s worth the visit. I would love to visit here again!

Went to cocoa beach with the family as a last minute trip just to get out of the house. By the end of the night we were starving. We were looking for a restaurant that ended up being closed and at my next search this restaurant showed up. And oh boy I’m so glad it did. At first my husband and i weren’t sure if we could go in because we had our 3 kids and the set up was more of a bar/adult dinning but they welcomed us. My husband and I ordered the shepherds pie and it was out of this world!! It definitely hit the spot. My son had a burger and my daughter had pasta with chicken. Every bit of the food was eaten. We are definitely coming back for sure but for a date this time

Hidden gem pub on Merritt Island! Strip mall exterior (just down from The Home Depot), but cozy Irish pub on the inside. Long bar, cozy tables, and a couple of hightops. Awesome owner and excellent staff. Good draft selection and excellent Irish/British Isles pub fare. We had beers, apps, and six different entrees and everyone was fat and happy! To be honest, I usually drive through Merritt Island to somewhere else, but Sally’s is definitely worth a stop!

I’ve been trying a new item each time I come and I really enjoy eating here. The chicken piccata and shepherds pie is one of my favorites. I tried the mahi sandwhich despite it not being a meal I have ever ordered and it ended up being my favorite sandwhich from here. Sylvia has a memory like an elephant, I have no idea how she remembers my drink since my mom and I don’t come in that often but it is impressive!

1st timers at Sally O’brien’s in Merritt Island next to Brunos pizza in the plaza with Home Depo and Ross not a BIG sign so you could easily overlook it. Beautiful atmosphere. The owner and one server were working so patients and understanding is a must but I will say our meals were all AMAZING and absolutely deeeeeeelicious, very much worth the wait. My partner and I had the fish, I had the grilled Mahi sandwich which was freaking AWESOME so so good and my other half had the fish and chips which was also fabulous breaded and fried to perfection. Our friends enjoyed their meals and we will be going back. We highly recommend Sally O’brien’s. Thank you for an amazing meal this evening.

When they said “hidden gem” they really meant hidden. We had to circle the parking lot a couple times, but I’m glad we finally found it. It’s beautiful inside. You wouldn’t think from the look on the outside. Tucker was friendly and accommodating to us. The drinks were awesome and the food was great! I had Coconut shrimp and Fish & Chips. They were amazing alone but the London Pub Malt Vinegar was icing on the cake. They were nice, crispy and not oily. I had a Pink Starburst Martini and those are my favorite starbursts. It taste just like it, too. The next drink was the Pineapple Flirtini. I’m not big on sweet drinks, but these weren’t watered down, so they were affective! We played on the cork dart board. It was nice to score ourselves with chalk instead of the typical electronic board. I would definitely return.

Shepherds Pie very enjoyable. It came out really hot & steamy.
Authentic pub decor nicely done.
There should be more people on Sunday afternoon. This is a good place that includes pool table and dart board
