update: they delivered it to the wrong address (my old house), but my old address is no longer in my online profile (where i ordered from) so i’m unsure how the disconnect there happened. when i asked for a refund, they said they processed a refund and emailed me the confirmation on it and that id be receiving it by the end of the day. makes no sense??? don’t bother with this place.

ordered at 11a for a 1p delivery. it is now 1:53p as i’m writing this. almost an hour late. poor scheduling management since this happens all the time. you’d wonder why i keep ordering from here but you don’t know what cravings are like until you are pregnant. i was told there is only one driver and they’re really busy. maybe have a back up driver on call or schedule two on the weekends?? wish they’d schedule better so they could live up to their “freaky fast” motto this location needs new management

Mixed experience with this location.

The delivery was on time and the order itself was accurate. This was a $100.22 corporate lunch order, with $74.34 in food and a full 20% tip included because we try to support local teams and be good customers when placing group orders.

The issue was the pricing and promotion experience. Jimmy John’s is promoting a “Make it a combo for $1 more” deal, but when ordering on mobile it was not clear that a specific button had to be clicked to activate it. As a result, the promotion was never applied to our order.

After reviewing the receipt, the sandwiches were charged at $12.39 each when the promotional price should have been $9.29. Across six sandwiches, plus tax and tip calculated on the higher total, the difference came out to roughly $24.

When I called the store, I was told we needed to be “more careful” next time rather than anyone trying to resolve the situation or acknowledge the confusing ordering process.

For a personal order this would be frustrating. For a corporate lunch order, it matters more. We made a sizable order, tipped appropriately, and were trying to be good customers — which made the experience even more disappointing after realizing the pricing issue.

Food and delivery were solid. The customer experience and promotion handling were not.

I would welcome a conversation with Jimmy John’s corporate team or the local franchise owner, as I’m confident this is not the customer experience they expect for their Geneva, IL location.

I spoke with Jimmy John’s corporate support by phone on Thursday (2/12) and was told the franchise owner would call me within 24 hours and that I would receive a follow-up email from corporate. Neither happened.

On Sunday, I emailed to follow up and was told I had contacted the “wrong email address,” even though that same address had successfully reached them just a few days earlier.

I called corporate again Monday morning (2/16). At that time, I was told the franchise owner would not be contacting me and that they would not be adjusting the charge, as they consider the price charged to be correct. When I asked what corporate could do to help resolve the situation — and referenced the location’s existing low customer rating — I was told that these decisions are left to the franchise location.

What’s most disappointing is that this wasn’t a complaint about food quality or delivery — both were good. This was simply feedback about a confusing promotion and a request to correct a pricing issue tied to that experience.

Being ignored after providing clear, reasonable feedback — and after attempting multiple follow-ups — says more about how this location and process handle customers than the original issue itself.

As someone who regularly coordinates corporate lunches, this experience will factor into future vendor decisions. There are several other sandwich and catering options in the area that will now have the opportunity to earn that business.

The order had to be redone several times as dude was having issues with the 1.00 combo deal. in the end they put tomatoes on my sandwhich which i requested none and on the other turkey it was requested leave the bread in. apparently something i didn’t know on the turkey they scope the middle bread out. well when i noticed i had tomatoes i didn’t say anything because i would simply pick them off but I asked did you leave the bread in on the turkey the other dude said the order didn’t tell him so know. then rudely asked if I would
like him to re make the sandwhich which i replied of coarse. aim not getting yelled at when i take her sandwich home. i said just transfer it on a new piece of bread. he said wasn’t very pleasant or happy. know i understand why they get 2
stars. service lacks inside this store.

The last time I ordered for delivery, my sandwich was missing almost all of the toppings, so this time I decided to go in store. Luckily, I checked before I left because my sandwich only had a pea sized amount of avocado on it, and the bread looked like someone had ripped it with their thumb.

When I went inside and asked about it, the tall man in the gray shirt was very helpful and offered to remake the sandwich. HOWEVER, the lady with dark hair in a high bun and a septum piercing was incredibly rude and condescending and said the sandwich was fine. I understand that it may not have seemed major, but if I am going to be paying $13 for a meal I really would love a sandwich that both looks and tastes appealing. As someone who has a lot of social anxiety and was already anxious about asking for a replacement, that was such an awful experience for me. Will absolutely not be returning.

Oh Jimmy John’s.. what happened? I ordered a sandwich on sliced wheat like I usually do and it was delivered freaky fast as promised. Alas, when I looked at the wrapped sandwich, it seemed small.. did I only oder half? (No)… so I unwrap the sandwich to find what can only be described as miniature. Okay, I get it, i need to reduce carbs, but how would you have known that? The bread was literally half the normal size. In fact, i don’t even recall seeing bread that small anywhere… ever. If that weren’t enough, there were parts of the crust that seemed unusually hard (stale). When making the sandwich, did you think I might not notice? (or care?). Sign me heartbroken and disappointed in my favorite sandwich shop.

So. I’m all for not using hairnets… however there does come a point where something needs to be done. I watched the employee wearing the thick hat with huge dreads lean down to grab something from under the counter and his hair touched the counter and a little bit of the sandwich he was working on. I may not wear dreads but I know once they’re in they can’t really be cleaned for awhile so I have no idea how dirty his hair may have been. Had I not ordered ahead I would’ve walked out because that was so gross. I was also not greeted when I walked in, a friendly hi one moment would have been nice instead I was met with an annoyed stare and a matching, “Hold on.”

Ordered online with no issue- received an email that the order was placed at 12:59PM. about 25 mins pass so I check the email for tracking- clicked the tracking button and it made me sign into the website so I did- shows no order on my history so I called the store number that was in the email. When they picked up I said I ordered online and was wondering if i can check my status and she didn’t ask me my name or details and said they have 2 drivers and they took the order 20 mins ago and he had a few other orders with him, then she hung up. No what’s your name or let me look for you. Another 20 mins go by so I call again an a guy picked up I told him what happened with the last call and asked where is my order and he asked my name saying well he left 30 mins ago and your the 3rd stop so it should be any minute- I told him I called 20 mins ago then I ordered over an hour ago but still nothing. He said that it should be there soon. its now been another 10 mins with no order. HORRIABLE service and as I am writing this the guy came in to drop off the order and I had a hot sandwich which is now COLD and soggy. and the driver had attitude and was not friendly.

Third time ordering a sandwich from this place and delivery almost takes two hours each time. You are charged a delivery fee and a requirement to put a tip in.
This last time on January 16, The sandwich that cost $14 with Bacon added On a number 11, there is one slice of bacon, one slice of turkey, no lettuce which was supposed to be and bread. I called to complain about the delivery and the food.
