We arrived before the dinner crowd. The steak was wonderful! Melted in my mouth! The prices were a bit high, but considering the quality of the piece of meat on my plate, it was worth it. The server was very nice. I think he could have used a hand or two when more people started coming in.

With my son and husband to help me, I was able to navigate the stairs, so I didn’t ask about a handicapped entrance. Did I miss one?

While they are very clean and well kept, I do have a couple suggestions about the rest room facilities. Unless there was separate handicapped bathroom that I missed, a railing in one stall would be helpful. Better lighting over the stalls would be also be helpful especially for those of us who don’t see as well as we used to. Thank you!

This was our second time here. We got the crab fritters for our starter, and they were really good. We both had the Jamburger with the goat cheese and berry compote, and it was amazing. Our waiter Jesse was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back more often.

EDIT: i have adjusted my rating bassed on a responce from an organizer. The following review is unaltered but I was informed this was all one person, and that it was noticed by many and is being handled. : Here for an event for armwrestlers. Hope they dont host here again. Started harassing anyone with supplement bottles to dump them, then after being tild refils are free for fountain sodas they said we had to pay 3$ for cans. Won’t be coming back. Cool looking place. But definitely just looking to squeeze the community dry

Went tonight for a friends birthday! The bartender was awful and rude! He complained about what I asked for, as we are waiting on our reservation, he tell us to move and shooed us away! Then made a comment about us walking away and not puttin a card on our tab! He was has awful customer service! I’m a manager of a local bar and the way he acted was truly unprofessional and awful! Will not go back there

After driving downtown to check out what might be happening, we found this historic building chock full of character, from vintage cars and decor, ample dance floor and lots of twinkling light to dance day or night. Separate business of ice cream in front and steak house too. Both worth the time.
Don’t forget to ask nicely about a ghost tour , if you are feeling it.

Was there October 2022. Great music and good place to dance. Temperature in building was very warm just by sitting there.
Visited tonight, with other guest August 2025. The restaurant was great. Had a steak. It was tender, melts in your mouth with vegetables. Great music tonight, but the air/temperature was still too warm by just sitting there. Our friends complained of it being too warm along with the drinks getting warm too fast. We would love to come back. Might try again in December or January when temperatures outside is much cooler. Maybe it will help cool the place down some inside. Besides it being warm indoors both times, its a nice place.

Nestled within the walls of a beautifully repurposed distribution center from days long past, the Corsicana Opry is a testament to both history and culinary delight. As you step into this meticulously restored building, you’re greeted by an atmosphere that seamlessly blends classic charm with a touch of nostalgia. Each corner whispers stories of yesteryears, adorned with remnants of the original structure dating back to the early 1900s.

But it’s not just the historic ambiance that captivates visitors; it’s the palpable passion and dedication infused into every detail by the owner. A true steward of the building’s heritage, she has poured her heart and soul into preserving its legacy while creating a welcoming haven for all who enter.

The decor, meticulously curated with pieces salvaged from the building’s original construction, pays homage to its industrial roots while adding a touch of rustic elegance. From the exposed brick walls to the vintage signage, every element transports diners on a journey through time.

And then there’s the food—a culinary symphony that delights the senses with each bite. From hearty entrees to decadent desserts, the menu showcases the finest ingredients crafted into delectable creations that leave taste buds tingling with delight.

My husband and I went to this restaurant on Valentine’s Day for lunch because it was listed as a steakhouse. Ironically, there was only one steak option on the entire menu and it came with eggs. However, the food was good and the service was excellent. I got the chicken fried steak and it was tender and delicious although they were a little skimpy on the gravy. My Husband got the old-fashioned cheeseburger and it was fine.
