Great standard burger.
– Burger (Double Cheeseburger) – $9.50: The burger was good quality and large for the price. Everything tasted fresh. It was made to order and therefore took 15 minutes. While it did not have anything special about it, it was VERY good and organized in it’s final product.
The burger patties were either close to quarter pound or slightly under and were very juicy. The patty was cooked perfectly. The toppings were fresh and crisp. The cheese was melty and very good. You can choose the cheese on it and everything else. The mustard was slightly heavier than the ketchup on this one, but still kept in a delicious balance. The bun was just right for this ensemble.
One major complaint: I asked for no pickles, but got lots of juicy pickles. The pickle flavor was therefore throughout the burger as a result. When ordering, after specifying no pickle, I asked what other toppings were on the burger and she even repeated back “pickle (but not on yours).” It was not too busy when I stopped, so I am not sure where the breakdown was. I am guessing it was missed in the kitchen.
Their menu is quite extensive.
– Service: Order at the counter. My burger took 15 minutes, so I would recommend ordering ahead. They were kind but matter of fact. I could tell that they were close knit with the locals, though. They seemed to be geared more for delivery orders.
– Atmosphere: No seating for dine in, but several chairs for waiting. The customer area is painted in bold yet bright blue paint with artistic pieces of historic, cultural, and even children’s art. It was clean, though it is a tad rough around the edges. The menu is displayed on several screens. The customer area is about 10’ x 20’.
– Conclusion: I would recommend their burger. It was definitely good quality for the price.

Honestly I Truly did like wing heaven but the kitchen has gotten lazy and the women with dreads does not fail to mess up my order completely unapologetically. I always spend 30 or more and I always am willing to give them another chance after chance this time I am completely done. Just spent $50 no lemon Pepper seasoning at all just plain chicken. The jalapeño peppers have never looked this way.typically I have problems with the wings, never the poppers ! Totally disappointed but what I can say is the perch ever fails! Always a 10!

I had lunch at Wing Haven today located at 2020 Eastern Avenue Southeast, this is a place with outstanding service, great food, very friendly working staff, I must say the gizzards loaded are absolutely fantastic, just seeing the smiles on the staffs faces, was worth the visit, I definitely suggests visiting Wing Heaven, thumbs up.

I was ecstatic to be able to get a Turkey burger at an establishment that was on my route home. My burger was seasoned well, cooked to perfection & very fresh! It was delightful! As busy as they were, the phone was answered in a timely manner. The young woman that took my order was very polite & so were the two women when I picked up my order. The price was very reasonable. I ordered a basket which included fries (these were fresh too) & drink which totaled $10 due to little extras that I added.

This is my spot for lemon pepper wet traditional wings ( fried hard ) Big boi always understand the assignment!!! Even on occasion I call in instead of going in & ordering if I’m not satisfied he takes care of it. The young lady at the counter very professional articulate like her customer service is top notch. I got to observe her tonight under pressure the cook was short with her she still remained courteous to customers on & off the phone! She definitely exemplifies characteristics of being a leader!!! This place is my type of place. Walked in to a picture of Muhammad Ali standing over Sunny Liston and then went up to the counter and was greeted by a husband and wife smiling ear to ear. I’m assuming they’re the owners but seeing a young family (the young woman was holding a newborn), who loves what they’re doing, made me smile and I can’t wait to go back. Least I can do is write a positive review considering it’s so rare, to see people who work hard and still smile. Thank you.
