Decided to try this location for a quick takeout dinner and I have no regrets. I walked in, was promptly greeted, my food was ready on time, and the portion of my meal was great! My only gripe that isn’t really a legit one is that I wish the carrots in my veggies were cooked longer because I’m a little picky with carrots. Outside of the carrot situation, the Red Samauri combo will be my go-to order for takeout hibachi!

Food isn’t great but it isn’t nasty either. It will just get you full in my opinion. Their pink sauce has no flavor, it’s not good. You can pour two cups on your rice and still not even taste it. Idk if they are watering it down or what. Portion is good and service is good. But I won’t be returning.
If you love pink sauce like me you understand where I’m coming from . It makes a huge difference in the food.

Red Samurai is a local Madison, Ms Japanese hibachi restaurant. It’s easily in my top two hibachi spots. Their portions are decent though not the biggest I have ever seen but definitely not bad. They are fairly flavorful. They have a nice atmosphere. The hey have nice decorations and two very nice fish tanks. Their menu is varied and they carry more than just hibachi. Their service is good but could be a little faster. Also their prices are acceptable. I definitely will probably go again sometime soon. Though they can stand to work on consistency in serving time and taste flavoring

I ordered online a kids meal the steak and rice. I had ordered this before previously, but with chicken. The last time it was drowning in the sauce in the rice. This time I ordered light sauce on the rice, and it was still pretty drenched, but it was OK. The steak was nice. The girl behind the counter wasn’t friendly, I really wanna like this place, Because I love hibachi style Steak and chicken, but only want a small portion. If they could make the rice With less sauce, it would actually be very delicious

I’ve eaten here 3 times in the past 2 weeks. They are consistent with the food I bought and it hasnt tasted like it was leftovers from a few days ago. I had to wait a few mins but that is a sign of cooking your meal fresh. Highly recommended as the flavor is very authentic to the dish I ordered, which is rare and I’m ordering from them again this week. Price is fair and I feel worth it for the freshness.
