I love Tacos El Diabol! The food is always fresh and full of flavor. Their torta is my favorite it’s delicious and packed with ingredients. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. Definitely one of the best spots in town for authentic Mexican food! ❤️

Prices are not displayed on the menu but I ordered carne asada fries for $15 and 2 quesabirria tacos for $10.84. The meat is pretty good but the portions aren’t big. The fries don’t have much toppings but they’re tasty and crispy. The place doesn’t have much parking at all and it’s off a busy intersection with only outdoor seating. Overall good.

My go to place in Ventura. Favorite food here…. the sopes! Chili Verde or the asada were very good. Taste like home made, warm and fresh. Never had a bad experience with either one of them. Don’t know if there’s anyone else who has the taste and quality. The Chili Verde burrito was also excellent! Come try this place against your regulars and you will be back here for sure. I highly recommend.

Great food, nice vibe to sit. The asada is full of flavor and even small things like the pickled onions are great.

Whatever you do, do not order the quesabirria taco! It was just a giant pile of grease! And I am not over exaggerating… I have never seen anything like this. It was not even edible. I also got a carne asada taco and it was just okay at best. Also, they hide their prices which is the strangest thing I’ve ever seen at a taco shop. They don’t list them on the menu above where you order or on the boards that they have leading up to the cash register. You can only order or sit outside so the place isn’t exactly fancy but the prices are. And the food is not worth it! Parking is extremely difficult as well. I rarely leave a negative review but I honestly and wholeheartedly recommend that you go somewhere else.

Honestly as a Northeast LA native Tacos El Diablo in Oxnard slapped. And I have always recommended my friends from LA to eat there if we were in the area. Going to the location in Downtown Ventura, I had high expectations based off my past experiences in Oxnard. The menu was very limited. When I ordered an horchata the water was pretty watered down I asked the cashier who was a young girl honestly didn’t think much of it just thought they would replace the drink. The cashier and the cook came over and made it a big issue to replace the drink stating it was normal. I didn’t even ask in a bad manner just like “ hey it’s really diluted can I replace it for another drink” they were pretty rude. I’m a chicana born and raised in NELA so that was weird and then there attitude was off putting. With the replacement they gave me a Jamaica and that tasted like it wasn’t prepared but with fear these individuals might spit in my drink I pretended it was okay and just went on about my day. I am upset with how they handled the situation they could have provided a replacement without an issue but made me think business was suffering since they couldn’t even correct their mistake cause it would cost them business. Made me not respect their business as I did not ask for a free handout I payed for my food and was just trying to enjoy my meal. For them to escalate the situation and make me feel uncomfortable is not okay and not acceptable if I’m quite frank. After reading reviews this business needs to chill that’s not proper etiquette for business looks bad. Talk about good tacos and bougie Guisados Tacos in LA that has handmade tacos, a location in Beverly Hills by Dodger Stadium and in South Pasadena etc. Nicer areas and way better costumer service. This is not okay, I’m disappointed.

Food is pretty good tasting, but it’s expensive. I got a burrito and two tacos here one for $16+. The pastor meat is very good and the salsas are pretty spicy but have great flavors. Saturday was very hot here so they definitely could use more umbrellas in the sitting/eating area. The area on the corner can be questionable with the people pass by and be careful if you got kids or animals with you cause you’re close to the very busy road. I’d eat here again but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.
It’s also cool you can still get a sandwich here if you remember the steak & hoagies spot here before.( Philly cheesesteaks & pastrami’s)

Fantastic tacos at a good price. Loved the carnitas, chorizo and al pastor. The green salsa was both tasty and a little spicy! Delicious. They came out pretty quick and there was a decent amount of shade to eat lunch without being in the full sun.

Delicious food. Easy out door sitting. Weekdays not too like. My brother loved the fish tacos. I had a burrito that was so good. My uncle had nachos and it was a ton of food but also really delicious. I would 100 percent eat here again!!! Maybe tomorrow.

Oh my god, YES! I ordered pastor tacos and my husband got a pastor burrito. It was absolutely amazing, I almost ordered some to go. The spicy salsa was so spicy I’m in love. I don’t live in the area, but on my way back home I’m definitely stopping again! Do yourself a solid and check it out!
