This restaurant is inside of the Isleta Resort Casino in Albuquerque NM. I wanted to try the Green Hatch Chili Stew everyone said was so good. Well…..they didn’t lie. It was really good. I also had the fried zucchini which amazing. The service was great and the atmosphere was nice. Give it a try I think you will enjoy it.

Had the breakfast there a week ago. We had the steak and eggs and it was pretty good. Went again this week end the 24th and most of the tables were open, but the lady at the front told us that there would be a 25 minute wait. There were other folks ahead of us and we all waited patiently for our turn. About 20 minutes into our wait, a couple of young ladies came in and sat down and waited for their turn. Ten minutes after, the lady at the front called the girls name and they were seated. We told the lady that we were there before the girls, whereupon the lady said no, that the girls were there before us. instead of trying to accommodate us, she chose to argue the point. We left and will not return. Yes the steak and eggs were pretty good, but certainly not worth the abuse.

On my first visit there was this lady that couldn’t answer questions because she was “busy” in the entire restaurant there was probably 3-5 tables with customers, on my second day same lady with no manners or any kind of training on how to treat people.
The two waitress were very friendly and polite. The food not so great.
Price was pretty affordable, breakfast with coffee and tip was around $18.00.
Also the Tiwa restaurant doesn’t exist no more even though they have signs all around the hotel and casino, I follow the signs for several minutes until I give up and I ask a few employees and they told that the tiwa is now chile ristra, even the website shows that the restaurant still there, when I asked the chile ristra restaurant they told me that this location chile ristra was the tiwa, so anyway not so cool that not even employees know or have better information about their own place of work.
Breakfast menu is super limited, not many options to pick.

Great food for the price. I could not finish a single meal I ordered here in one sitting. My husband and I ordered the Tuesday Prime Rib special for $10. It’s not spectacular but it’s good, hearty, and filling. The mashed potatoes were actually my favorite part. I am giving it five stars because you can’t beat the price for the food you receive. I was more impressed than not and satisfied with my meal and the service. We also had breakfast a couple of times sent up as room service. That was very good and very reasonable as well.

Went to TIWA Restaurant and Lounge for our early dinner. The restaurant was so cold it affected us enjoying our meal. Keeping the temperature at frigid levels is ridiculous and hampers guests from enjoying their meal. Our server was Nichole, who in my opinion is in need of remedial training for serving staff. Not very friendly, had a lump of something in her mouth while she was talking to us and only came to the table once during our 90 minute visit. Only one refill on beverages. Seemed like a long time from the time we ordered our food and the food was delivered to the table. We asked to have our dessert boxed for take home, and that too, took an unreasonable length of time to reach the table. Not sure we would want to be seated again in Nichole’s area.

I came here for the first time last night. As a trucker I love being able to park here. As a non-smoker I appreciate how this place is set up in a way where everyone can be happy!
While I’m not a gambler I can tell there is a lot for most anyone to enjoy here.
The TIWA is all non-smoking and I can’t say enough about the friendly and helpful staff! The Fry Bread Taco was very good- and being a Native American myself I really appreciated that being done the right way!
I went to the gift shop across the hallway and the lady working in there was also very friendly and helpful!
After my very pleasant experience here last night I really look forward to spending time (and a few bucks of course!) here again whenever the opportunity presents itself!

I wont ever eat here again, my grandsons ribs were cold. Our food took 40 minutes and even our burgers were cold. It was apparent our food sat somewhere a long time. The coffee was cold, cold coffee please not to mention I had to ask her for 2nd cup. The service was slow and I will not ever come here again! They took my grandsons spare ribs back, we wanted a hot set, they brought some other kind of ribs…but at least they were hot! Will say the potato casserole is delicious, but the service is really terrible….

We got seated the waitress got our drinks then when were ready to order she never came back. The girl that seated us saw that we were still sitting there without ordering so she called a waiter, we sat there for about 45 minutes to an hour before we were able to eat.
