I tried their traditional dishes and everything was spot on. The rice, beans, and tender meats tasted just like a home-cooked Dominican meal. The tortilla plantain with meat was delicious, and the seafood was cooked perfectly.

The food is very good, it tastes great, the seafood. They are the best, the prices are good compared to restaurants that specialize in cooking seafood. The service of the employees needs to improve a little and it is a little complicated to find parking around, but I highly recommend this place, go try it.
They have clams, mussels, lobster, shrimp… They also have meat, chicken and many side dishes… I love the white pasta they make and the tostones.

I came here because I’m pregnant and was craving the salmon over rice, so I ordered over the phone. However, I mistakenly placed the order at the restaurant since it displayed a picture of the seafood market on Google. To clarify, I didn’t want the salmon they prepared here; I specifically wanted the one over rice with corn. I explained this to the woman in charge—she wears glasses—but she refused to understand my frustration, walked away, and told the other staff member to give me a refund. I didn’t want a refund; I just wanted what I was craving. I am very disappointed.

Dearest Puerto Plata,
When you change the size of your lobster rolls during off season, makes sure you change the price to match. Also, you can’t call it a full lobster roll when you mix the lobster with crab meat! We as paying customers don’t appreciate the deception!

I was served RAW fish here today. Completely raw in the center, and no one was the least bit apologetic or trying to problem solve. Did not get a sorry, did not get my meal comped, nothing… The servers made us feel like a nuisance, especially the younger one with long black hair. If I end up with food poisoning, I will definitely be calling the health department.
This is a neighborhood staple and I’m disappointed as I never had a problem till today. I took my aunt to celebrate Mother’s Day and the staff was very cold and inattentive. We had to wait to get their attention for every little thing, even had to ask for silverware after we already waited 25 minutes for food. Won’t be back for anything but the drinks.

The food was just ok. I had the surf and turf, which everything was bland and the shrimp and lobster needed to be cooked a little longer. The Tostones were good, the yellow rice and red beans was good and the moro rice was really good. My bf had the fried snapper, that was good, but could’ve used a little more seasoning. We shared the picadera and the honey garlic wings. Both were just OK. I didn’t like the batter on the wings. My drink was slappin, though. I had the crazy jazzy. But overall not worth the amount of money spent in my opinion. The amount of food given was a lot. It’s just majority of it didn’t have much flavor.

Food was amazing oxtail on point. Restaurant was very nice. A cool bar area nice and clean a lot of options to eat and a lot of options if you want a nice slushy or getting a beverage. The people were very hospitable highly recommend.
