On Saturday, July 26th, I placed a delivery order around 8:30 PM, needing delivery after a long day, which was confirmed with a kind representative. I arrived home promptly at 8:20 PM and waited outside, expecting my order.
After waiting until 8:50 PM with no delivery, I called the store. To my dismay, I was informed that the order, which I had already prepaid for, including a tip, was marked as “delivered.” I immediately clarified that neither I nor my wife had received any food, making it clear the pizza was delivered to the wrong address.
What transpired next was an absolute shock. When I politely asked if the order could be remade and redelivered, explaining I was willing to wait longer, the representative became dismissive, stating, “There’s nothing I can do for you.” He then incredibly claimed the pizza was delivered to “kids on a bike,” which I immediately corrected, stating it was just my wife and I. When I then asked to speak to a manager, he abruptly hung up on me.
I immediately called back, only to find my phone number had been blocked. I tried calling two more times, receiving the same treatment. After a brief pause, I called again. This time, he answered, only to accuse me, stating, “You are harassing us and I will call the police. You’re not getting any pizza tonight.”
This entire experience was beyond appalling. Not only did my prepaid meal never arrive due to a clear delivery error, but the subsequent “customer service” was a profound dereliction of duty. To be falsely accused, dismissed, hung up on, have my number blocked, and then be threatened with police action for simply trying to receive a prepaid order is completely unacceptable. This reflects an utterly unacceptable standard of customer interaction and a shocking disregard for basic decency and problem resolution. I urge Domino’s corporate to launch an immediate investigation into this establishment and the individual responsible for such egregious behavior.
Everytime I’ve gone there, there’s been one or two employees working and it takes forever and it’s not the employees fault. I would quit if I were them.
